On January 2, 2022, sponsored by Hunan Provincial Artists Association and Shenzhen Artists Association, and hosted by Shenzhen Futian District Public Culture and Sports Development Center and Shenzhen Luohu District Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, the "Thousand Mountains and Ten Thousand Peaks - 2022 'Tao Qingyou Cross-border Entry Contemporary Performance Exhibition" opened at Futian Art Museum.

The exhibition exhibits more than 240 contemporary art works by young Hunan artist Tao Qingyou. The exhibition will be on view until January 12.

Tao Qingyou, born in Liuyang in 1984, graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Hunan Normal University. Professional painter, member of Hunan Provincial Beauty Association. Since 2019, he has accompanied his teacher, Mr. Zou Jianping, from Guizi to Guge, from all the way west to westbound and eastbound, a total of more than 25,000 kilometers, measuring the vast land of China's western region with wheels, and since then has opened the road of artistic self-redemption.

Chen Xiangbo, vice chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Artists Association, gave a high evaluation to the exhibition. Zhang Chuang, vice chairman of the Shenzhen Artists Association and director of Futian Art Museum, accepted the works donated by Tao Qingyou on behalf of the art museum and issued a collection certificate to the artist.

Liu Bing, curator of the exhibition, said: Shenzhen is an inclusive city. We hope to introduce more outstanding artists to the citizens of Shenzhen, and the works must be diverse and all-encompassing. Through exchanges and cooperation with artists across the country and even around the world, we will enhance the artistic atmosphere of the city; with cultural people and art, we will help the improvement of Shenzhen's cultural soft power and strive to continue to write more "spring stories"!
