Tesla delivered 308,600 units, up 71% year-on-year, with Model 3/Y deliveries of 296,850 units (up 84% year-on-year) and Model S/X deliveries of 11,750 units (down 38% year-on-year).
Tesla's total production of 305,840 units increased by 70% year-on-year, of which Model 3/Y production: 292731 (up 79% year-on-year) and Model S/X production: 13,109 units (down 19% year-on-year).

In terms of sales, Tesla delivered 936172 pure electric vehicles, an increase of 87.4% year-on-year, far more than any other brand in the world.
Among them, Tesla Model 3/Model Y deliveries were 911208 units, an increase of 106% year-on-year. The Tesla Model S/Model X fell 56 percent to just 24,964 units.
In terms of production, Tesla produced 930422 vehicles in the whole year, an increase of 82.5% year-on-year. Among them, Tesla Model 3/Model Y, production increased by 99% year-on-year, reaching 906032 units, while Tesla Model S/Model X production fell by 56% year-on-year to only 24390 units.
Tesla's rapid growth in production and deliveries in 2021 has made many analysts confident in Tesla's performance in 2022, predicting that its sales will reach or even exceed 1.2 million units.
Some analysts believe that the long-term average annual growth rate of Tesla vehicle deliveries will be around 50%, and it is expected to reach 1.4 million by 2022. Some analysts believe that it may not stop there, especially in 2021, with a year-on-year increase of more than 87%.
