According to the full year 2021 data, Tesla produced 930,422 new cars and delivered 936,172 vehicles in the whole year. The production and delivery volume of model 3/Y far exceeds that of Model S/X, of which the model 3/Y has a full-year production of 906,032 units and a full-year delivery volume of 911,208 units.
In addition, Tesla officials said that the statistics of delivery volume are slightly conservative, because Tesla only counts the delivery statistics after the vehicle has actually been handed over to the customer and all relevant documents have been completed, and the final delivery figure may have a difference of 0.5% or more.
