1. Shu Han generals

This person was Huo Yi, whose father's name was Huo Jun, a native of Zhijiang, Nan County, who defected to Liu Bei in 208. Later, Huo Jun followed Liu Bei into the river and was responsible for guarding the town. After Liu Bei occupied Yizhou, Huo Jun served as the general of Zi Tong Taishou and Pei, but he fell ill and died not long after. Liu Bei took great care of Huo Yi and let him study and live with Liu Chan. After Liu Chan ascended the throne, Zhuge Liang asked his adopted son Zhuge Qiao to train in the army with Huo Yi.

Huo Yi can be said to be a man of both culture and martial arts, who was responsible for tutoring the prince's studies in the early days, and was later appointed as the deputy governor of the army and the deputy governor of Yu, responsible for the affairs of the southern central region. Huo Yi used force to pacify the Yi dynasty in Yongchang County, and the "county boundary was quiet". After that, Huo Yi served in Nanzhong for a long time and had considerable political achievements. In 263, on the eve of the fall of the Shu Han Dynasty, Huo Yi was made a general of Annam and became the leader of the Southern Central Region of the Shu Han Dynasty.

2. Be faithful

After Huo Yi received the news of the Wei army's invasion, he immediately wrote a letter to the empress dowager Liu Chan, requesting to lead the army to serve the king, but the empress dowager Liu Chan did not agree. It didn't take long for the news of Shu Han's demise to reach Nanzhong. Huo Yi was very sad, "SuFu cried, the big advent three days." The generals under him all advised Huo Yi to surrender quickly, but Huo Yi said: "Now the road is blocked, and the safety of the Lord is not known. If the Lord and Wei He meet with courtesy, then they will protect the territory and descend, not too late. If there is any danger and humiliation, I will refuse it with death, and what about the evil of late speed! ”

That is to say, Huo Yi did not get the news from the later lord Liu Chan, and if Liu Chan was not treated with courtesy or even humiliated, then he would resist with death. After some time, Huo Yi received the matter of Liu Chan moving east to Luoyang and being given the title of Duke of Anle, and he led the civil and military officials of the six counties of Nanzhong to surrender, "Wen was born in three, things are the same, but where the difficulties are, they will be killed." Now that the vassal kingdom is defeated and the lord is attached, and there is nothing to keep to the death, it is a matter of commission, and it does not dare to have a second. Sima Zhao was very pleased, and immediately appointed Huo Yi as the governor of Nanzhong and continued to manage the military and political affairs of the six counties of Nanzhong.

3. Shi shou Nan Zhong

After Sima Yan established the Western Jin Dynasty, Huo Yi was still heavily used, and he was also given the title of Marquis of Liehou and Jiaozhou Assassin. At that time, there was a rebellion in Eastern Wu, and the Western Jin Dynasty sent reinforcements through Huo Yi to support Lü Xing's rebellion, posing a great threat to Eastern Wu. In addition to Huo Yi, another Shu Han general, Luo Xian, was also reused by the Western Jin Dynasty, but Huo Yi's situation was even more special, because his descendants actually enjoyed hereditary rights!

After Huo Yi, his son and grandson continued to serve in Nanzhong, and his grandson Huo Biao served as the Taishou of Yue. According to archaeological findings and related historical materials, until the late Eastern Jin Dynasty, Huo Yi's descendants still served in Nanzhong. For example, during the reign of Emperor Xiaowu of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Huo Chengsi successively served as the taishou of the three counties of Jianning, Yue cui, Xinggu, Nanyi, Jiao, Ning Erzhou, and the military governor of Jiangnan Jiaoning Erzhou, and was also given the title of Marquis of Chengdu County.
