The 2021 Yangtze River Delta and some cities in the country's most beautiful public cultural space competition is held for the first time, its predecessor is the "good life" public cultural space innovation competition, held for the first time in 2018, is the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, the municipal government in order to launch the "Shanghai culture" brand deployment, show the fruitful results of the development of public culture in the triangle region, and respond to the people's new expectations for "good life". Last year, under the guidance of the Department of Public Service of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Government continued to expand the coverage of the event, comprehensively upgrading it to the "2021 Yangtze River Delta and some cities in the country's most beautiful public cultural space competition", eagerly responding to the new expectations of the people of the whole country for a "better life". The competition aims to explore and establish a number of model cases for the integrated development of public culture in the country, build a space creation platform for the participation of the whole society, and let the creative design industry empower public culture and a better life.
It is understood that after extensive collection and recommendation of various competition areas across the country, a total of 1292 space cases competed in the 2021 competition, and 302 spaces won good results, of which 20 "Most Beautiful Public Cultural Space Awards" were selected, 102 Top 100 Public Cultural Space Awards, and Luoyang Xingluo Lake City Study Room were listed among them.
Xingluo Lake City Study Room is located in Xingluo Lake Station, Luolong District, Luoyang City, with an area of 208 square meters and a collection of more than 8,600 books. As one of the highlights of The Study Room in Luolong District, it is popular with the public, and it is often difficult to find on holidays, and has received observation groups at all levels many times. There are four reading areas in the study room: the main function reading area (adult reading area), the ancient books reading area, the children's reading area and the outdoor water reading platform. The main function reading area is through 5 large glass windows for the public to watch the lake and sit and read. Connected to the functional area is an outdoor water-friendly reading platform of more than 50 square meters, where reading promotion activities such as reading salons are regularly carried out to attract readers to participate. Readers can enjoy the fragrance of tea and books under the shade of clear water and blue sky, and enjoy the lake view while reading. In order to meet the reading needs of different groups, a children's reading area is set up in the study room, and the largest collection of books is children's favorite picture books. The whole area is equipped with a bright yellow, light gray "fabric desk", giraffe and other animal elements of the small stool, making the whole area full of childlike fun. In addition, there is an ancient book reading area for local historiographies and line-bound ancient books.
In addition to regular reading promotion activities, Xingluohu City Study Room also participated in the series of activities of "Ancient Capital At Eight O'Clock at Night, Luolong Invites You to Read", "Ancient Capital New Life, Urban Reading Season" and "Ancient Capital New Life Red Reading Season", including "Big Coffee Talk", "Ru Xu Reading Club", "Party History Lecture" Theme Lectures, Picture Book Reading, etc., and many readers actively participated in it.
