Recently, the "2021 Yangtze River Delta and Some Cities in the Country's Most Beautiful Public Cultural Space Competition" was successfully concluded, and the Neijiang Zhang Daqian Museum stood out from 1292 space cases and won the Top 100 Public Cultural Space Award.
Guided by the Public Service Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Steering Committee of the Shanghai Citizens' Cultural Festival, sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Pudong New Area of Shanghai, a total of 1292 space cases were contested through extensive solicitation and recommendation of various competition areas across the country, and finally 302 spaces won the best results, and Zhang Daqian Museum was listed among them.
It is understood that the Zhang Daqian Museum opened in 2019, covering an area of 3.2 acres, with a construction area of 2778 square meters, consisting of 5 exhibition halls, 1 lecture hall, multimedia information area and leisure platform. Designed by EMBT in Spain and designed by the world-renowned designer Bernardeta, it combines the elements of Eastern and Western cultures, and lays out the architectural form with Zhang Daqian's plum blossom diagram, which is refined and abstracted, combined with the original terrain design. The overall form is based on Zhang Daqianshan stone and shinu paintings, and the shell "backbone" is taken from Mr. Daqian's flowing beard, like a ribbon of "flying sky".
Since the completion of the design, Zhang Daqian Museum has won many honors such as "Barcelona World Architecture Festival" Future Project "Cultural Architecture Award", "Sichuan Top Ten Cultural and Creative Brands", "New Landmark of Bashu Cultural Tourism Corridor", etc. This award has added a beautiful business card to Zhang Daqian Museum.
