Humans have no power to bind chickens in the mythological world, and in order to avoid becoming the rations of demons and ghosts, they have to seek protection from the immortal Buddha.
However, not all terrans are so weak, and in "Journey to the West", there is also a human being who is unable to perform magic but has a lofty status, and even the life and death of the immortal is in his hands.
Some people say that the mortal with the highest status is not the Tang Emperor Li Shimin, who is the king of a country and naturally deserves to be the highest-ranking person under the whole world. However, although Li Shimin's status was respected, he could not interfere with the affairs of the Immortal Family, and Li Shimin's chancellor Wei Zheng was able to kill the King of one river of the Dragon Clan, the Dragon King of Jinghe.

The Dragon King of Jinghe violated the Heavenly Rules after making a bet with Yuan Shoucheng
During the Tang Dynasty, a fortune teller suddenly appeared on Ximen Street in Chang'an City, Yuan Shoucheng, and it was rumored that this Yuan Shoucheng was the uncle of Yuan Tiangang, the master of the Tang Dynasty, who was proficient in I Ching gossip and had a very good sense of divination.
When the people in Chang'an City heard about it, they came to him for divination, including a fisherman. The fisherman asked Yuan Shoucheng every day for a golden carp to help him divinate which location in the Jing River he could catch the most fish. As a result, the fisherman was able to return with a full load every day, and in the long run, there were fewer and fewer fish in the Jing River.
The Dragon King of Jinghe, the lord of the Jing River, was naturally very dissatisfied with this, so he disguised himself as a white-clad Xiushi to find Yuan Shoucheng on Chang'an Avenue, and bet with him to calculate the weather in Chang'an the next day, and if Yuan Shoucheng miscalculated, he would smash his stall and drive him out of Chang'an City!
Yuan Shoucheng naturally did not want to show weakness, he only slightly divination and then peeked through the heavenly opportunity and said: Tomorrow at dawn, there will be thunder, and it will rain at noon, and the precipitation will total three feet three inches and forty-eight points.
The Jinghe Dragon King was especially happy to see him speak loudly, because the weather in Chang'an City was under his jurisdiction, and whether it would rain tomorrow was not the time for him to say a word?
But who knew that after the Dragon King of Jinghe returned to the Dragon Palace, he received the Jade Emperor's holy will, and the requirements of the holy will were no different from what Yuan Shoucheng had measured. However, in order to suppress Yuan Shoucheng, the Dragon King of Jinghe arbitrarily delayed the rainfall and reduced the rainfall, which made Yuan Shoucheng lose.
However, the Jinghe Dragon King also violated the Jade Emperor's will and violated the Heavenly Rules, which was a capital offense. In desperation, the Dragon King of Jinghe asked Yuan Shoucheng for a solution, and Yuan Shoucheng gave him four words- "Find Tang Taizong" and left Chang'an.
Wei Zheng killed the Jinghe Dragon King in his dream
It turned out that it was Wei Zheng, the chancellor of Tang Taizong Li Shimin, who was sent by the Heavenly Court to supervise the beheading of the Dragon King of Jinghe, so the Dragon King of Jinghe gave Tang Taizong a dream according to Yuan Shoucheng's plan, informed Tang Taizong of the origin of the matter, and asked for his help to prevent Wei Zheng from killing himself.
Tang Taizong saw that the Dragon King of Jinghe personally asked him for help, and naturally did not dare to be sloppy, and after a little thought, he had a plan.
On the day when the Dragon King of Jinghe asked for a beheading, Tang Taizong saw that Wei Zheng was ready to leave after completing the dynasty, so he hurriedly asked him to accompany him to play chess, and on the way, Wei Zheng asked Tang Taizong to resign several times, but he dragged Wei Zheng on the grounds that he was not yet happy.
However, something unexpected happened, when the two of them descended to three o'clock in the afternoon, Wei Zheng and Li Shimin were sleepy and couldn't sleep, and when Wei Zheng woke up, the Jinghe Dragon King had already landed on the ground, and it turned out that Wei Zheng had beheaded the Jinghe Dragon King in his dream!
King Yan revealed Wei Zheng's true identity to Emperor Taizong of Tang
The Dragon King of Jinghe was beheaded by Wei Zheng and blamed all his resentment on Tang Taizong, who thought that Tang Taizong was untrustworthy in his words and promised to hinder Wei Zheng but did not do it, so that he became a lone ghost.
Therefore, the Jinghe Dragon King turned into a wronged soul from time to time to find Tang Taizong for his life, and Tang Taizong invited many senior monks to replace the Jinghe Dragon King. Soon after, Emperor Taizong of Tang died under the intimidation of the Dragon King of Jinghe and entered the underground mansion.
Tang Taizong, as His Majesty the Emperor of the Tang Dynasty, was accidentally killed, and when he arrived at the mansion, he naturally received many courtesies, and even the King of the Ten Halls of Yan came to personally greet him. At this time, Tang Taizong just had a matter in his mind that he couldn't understand, why Wei Zheng's naked-eyed mortal fetus could be qualified to supervise the beheading of the Jing River Dragon King, and at the same time, he could also supervise the beheading in his dreams, which was simply unheard of.
Tang Taizong saw that King Yan had a good attitude, so he asked the doubts in his heart. After hearing this, King Yan smiled slightly and said, "Since the birth of that little dragon, the Nandou Life and Death Book has stated that he will die at the hands of Human Cao!" It turned out that the fate of the Jinghe Dragon King had long been doomed, and he would surely die at the hands of "Ren Cao".
Although Wei Zheng is a common man, his other identity is "Ren Cao". "Ren Cao Guan" is also the messenger of the Heavenly Court in the human world, and his main duty is to take charge of human affairs for the Heavenly Court, and at the same time be responsible for conveying the will of the Heavenly Court and informing the Heavenly Court of some important situations in the human world, which is equivalent to a bridge between the Heavenly Court and the human world! The Dragon King of Jinghe violated the will of the Jade Emperor in the human world and modified the time and rainfall of the rain without authorization, and naturally deserved to be executed. At the same time, as a god, he violated the law in the human world, and Wei Zheng's "human Cao Guan" in the heavenly court was naturally the best candidate for the beheading!
Wei Zheng may still be the dark son in the hands of Buddhism
After Tang Taizong went to hell, he received the help of Guanyin Bodhisattva, who returned to the human world on the grounds that his Yang Life was not exhausted.
At the same time, Guanyin Bodhisattva also warned Tang Taizong that if he wanted to be harassed by the Jinghe Dragon King in the future, he must spread the Chang'an of the Mahayana Dharma in the Western Heavens, and when the Jinghe Dragon King heard the Mahayana Buddhism, he naturally did not dare to make trouble.
Therefore, Tang Taizong found Tang Monk to go to Xitian to seek Mahayana Buddhism, and also began the process of Tang Monk Xitian to learn the sutras.
As mentioned above, the Jinghe Dragon King was destined to die at the hands of Ren Cao, so it can be seen that these are all in the calculations of Buddhism. They killed Tang Taizong under the guise of the hand of the Dragon King of Jinghe, and then ordered Guanyin Bodhisattva to save him, and at the same time, they secretly guided them to have the source of the Western Heavens to learn the scriptures. Wei Zheng also played a very important role in it, and the author speculates that Wei Zheng is not only a human Cao of the Heavenly Court, but perhaps also a dark son in the hands of Buddhism!
