What is less known is that Geng Biao is actually a person with strong martial arts.
Geng Biao is a native of Liling, Hunan, born in 1909, when he was a child, he had studied martial arts for several years, his father Geng Chunan, a well-known person in the martial forest, also went to the imperial palace to perform martial arts for the emperor, the emperor saw that he was skilled in martial arts, and also gave him a pair of tiger head double hooks, for which geng Chunan was known as the "double hook hero"
Geng Biao worked as a child laborer at the age of 13, and in the days of exploitation, he was very eager to get out of this life, and later here, he accepted the influence of Marxism, and in 1925, at the age of 16, Geng Biao joined the Communist Youth League, and since then, Geng Biao has been working secretly under the arrangement of the party organization.
In 1930, Geng Biao officially joined the Red Army, successively in the Red Army as a regimental commander, division chief of staff and other positions, in the Long March, Geng Biao made great contributions to the Red Army, during the Xiangjiang Campaign, Geng Biao was the commander of the 4th Regiment of the Second Division of the Red First Army, when he led the troops to block the attack of 15 regiments of the enemy, so that the troops could break through smoothly.

In 1946, Geng Biao was appointed deputy chief of staff of the delegation to negotiate with the enemy in Beiping, and after the outbreak of the Liberation War, Geng Biao returned to the army and successively participated in the command of the Zhengtai Campaign and the Battle of Qingcang, and in 1948, he served as the deputy commander of the Second Corps of the North China Military Region.
In 1950, Geng Biao was transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and since then, he has begun his career as a diplomat for more than 20 years, so that when he was awarded the title in 1955, Geng Biao did not participate in the awarding of the title because he was already working in the local area, although Geng Biao was not in the army, but there were still many legendary stories about him in the army.
In Geng Biao's body, he also made a history, he was the only person who did not have a military rank, but served as defense minister.
In 2000, Geng Biao died at the age of 91.
