Since December 9, the province has reported a total of 1,598 locally confirmed cases (1,573 in Xi'an, 12 in Xianyang, 12 in Yan'an, and 1 in Weinan), of which 8 were discharged from the hospital and 1,590 were hospitalized.

At 0-24:00 on January 1, 2022, 3 new confirmed cases imported from abroad were reported to be cured and discharged from hospital.
