During the turmoil in the Pearl of the Orient of the motherland, a large number of black rioters acted arbitrarily, causing damage to the economic and social stability of the Hong Kong government. But what is even more worrying is that some black rioters spread the personal information of Hong Kong government officials and law enforcement personnel on the Internet, leaking personal privacy, and even the "first brother" of the Hong Kong police, Tang Bingqiang, was not spared.

These unscrupulous black rioters, who have no moral bottom line, call this kind of illegal behavior "the bottom" and directly point the spearhead of revenge at the staff responsible for combating such crimes and relevant people. According to Hong Kong media disclosures, among these so-called "bottom groups," one of the network groups that was set up in chaos did the worst. This group of cowards hid in the Internet and used the means of leaking the private information of Hong Kong police officers, patriotic people and their families to intimidate and threaten them in this way.
According to the report, the mobile phone number, IDENTITY and passport number, email address and date of birth of Tang Bingqiang, who served as commissioner of police and is now the secretary of the Security Bureau, were maliciously announced by the gangsters. The personal data of Deng Mingqiang's family is also among them.
One of the black rioters even left messages on the Internet to mock Deng Minqiang's left hand for inflammation, and also used software to make a black-and-white photo of Deng Bingqiang, encouraging other black rioters to carry out cyber attacks and insults.
The means are so inferior that they simply break through the moral bottom line. There's one detail to be aware of. Why did the black rioters know about the inflammation of Director Deng Bingqiang's left hand? Does this mean that there are two-faced people lurking inside?
It can be seen that after experiencing the turmoil, although the black rioters no longer dare to gang up on the street to do evil, they have adopted a more covert way, hiding in the network, and constantly publishing the private information of righteous people, which makes it more difficult to crack down on the black rioters. It is also more stealthy and destructive. But in any case, these people must be duly punished.
Because the target of their attacks is no longer ordinary citizens or innocent tourists, but directly targets the cybersecurity personnel responsible for fighting "bottom-up" crimes. This is a blatant provocation to the law.
According to media reports, there are not a few police personnel who have been exposed to privacy by gangsters. From the head of the cybercrime section to the general staff, they are targeted. The mobile phone number, address, and ID card information of the relevant personnel were leaked. These black hands are still clamoring on the Internet, saying that the official cannot arrest their core members at all, and can only arrest some technical personnel responsible for system maintenance.
Not only that, but these cyber black hands have further expanded their target range. According to reports, some artists who support the cessation of violence and chaos have also become their targets. Recently, because a celebrity and Tang Bingqiang attended the dinner together, they were considered "guilty" by this group of people who did not distinguish between right and wrong, and the celebrity's telephone address and the information of his family and relatives were subsequently leaked.
From this point of view, this new "black riot" is gradually brewing on the Internet, and there is a trend of continuous expansion and comeback. But these people must have forgotten that behind the Hong Kong government stands 1.4 billion Chinese, just "waste green", even if you jump high, it is only a grasshopper after autumn. On 8 October this year, the Personal Data (Privacy) (Amendment) Ordinance 2021 came into effect to criminalise "bottom-up" acts, and the Hong Kong Government has set up a Privacy Commissioner, in cooperation with the Cybercrime Bureau, to combat such "bottom-up" acts, and once implemented, arrests can be carried out, and offenders will be sentenced to a maximum fine of HK$1 million and 5 years' imprisonment.
So far, 17 people suspected of illegally disclosing personal data have been arrested. This proves once again that the Internet is not out of the ordinary. However, the problems exposed also put forward higher requirements for the righteous forces, and it is urgent to improve the network real-name registration and establish a stronger and more efficient network force.
But more crucially, in order to effectively guide education and culture, only by allowing the young people of the Hong Kong government to fundamentally reverse their erroneous views and values of history and establish a strong defense line can we prevent the West from infiltrating with ulterior motives.
