Writers who have been as famous as Hong Feng, from Gao Guang to Xiong Mu to Gao Guang, every butterfly change is sublimation

The other day, I introduced in the headlines the writer Hong Feng, who quit the Writers' Association. It mentioned that he played football with his buddies at the Jilin Provincial Writers' Training College, and said that the academy included almost all the young writers who were active in Jilin Province at that time. Among them, including Gao Guang, an avant-garde writer who was once as famous as Hong Feng. Of course, his column "Youth Creation Newsletter", which I ran, also invited him to participate in the discussion, and the person who corresponded with him was Liu Jianxin, the editor of the monthly magazine "Spring Wind".

In late December 1986, I received a letter from Highlight. The letter said: "I have heard Xiao Ke, Dechen, and Hong Feng talk separately, and you are running a column "Young Writers Discuss Letters", and I am sorry that I have not seen you. I heard my classmates tell me that when I went to the newspaper office once, it was already the day of the holiday, and I was in a hurry, and it was still too late to go to your place once, I left home for twenty-seven days, and I naturally imagined that I would return home, so I came back in a hurry. I thought, if you have orders, but obey the order is..." Let me write back to the railway construction section at No. 150 Jianshe Avenue in Tonghua City.

In my letter to him, I told him about my original intention in running this column, as well as the word count requirements. In mid-January 1987, he received his second letter: "Xiao Ke will pay me jianxin and write a reply." Yesterday from Beijing, write it out today, send it to you tomorrow. I don't know if I'm satisfied? My writing has always been "astringent". The same is true of this article. I hope that the original text can be issued, and do not change it to want. Newspapers are strict, many will abridge, the author's edges and corners are gone, there is no blood and will, no meaning. If it is not available, please send it back to me. You can go to Changchun in about February, about time. ”

After reading the manuscript that followed, I was a little embarrassed. In the article, he talked about his creative language more sarcastic, but when it comes to ethnicity and history, it is too radical, and it is indeed not suitable for official media publication, and he does not agree to change it. But the words at the end make me remember to this day: "Beyond myself, it is easy to talk about, and it is extremely difficult to truly transcend." "I heard it before I saw him, and I had a preliminary impression of the highlight.

Later, I heard from a friend that Gao Guang had taught at the Railway Middle School. After the resumption of the college entrance examination, he directly applied for graduate school in 1978, and after failing the list twice, he finally won the gold list in the third year, but easily gave up. In the three years of "catching up with the examination", he has memorized the general history of China to the fullest. In the mid-1980s, Gao Guang, as one of the most promising young writers in Northeast China, formed the troika of Jilin with Hong Feng and Wang Dechen. At that time, his most famous novels were "Paper Crane", "White Land" and "Source", all of which had the characteristics of avant-garde literary reflection.

In 1988, Gao Guang made a splash with a novella "Struggle" written about the anti-Japanese struggle in the mountain city of Northeast China, which was recommended by the famous writer Li Guowen and reprinted in an important position by the "Selected Novels", which attracted a lot of attention in the literary world. Later, he was seconded by Bayi Film Studio to adapt "Struggle" into a film script of the same name (co-produced in 2001, renamed "Sunflower Robbery").

Gao Guang said in the first letter: "About February can go to Changchun, about to meet", in fact, in "February" we did not see the above. It wasn't until mid-January 1991 that I met for the first time when I arrived in Tonghua. After a night of sleeper sleepers, I arrived in Tonghua at 7 a.m. and stayed at the Yuhuangshan Hotel. It is close to the Tonghua Municipal Party Committee, and the novelist Lu Minghui is working as a secretary in the General Office of the Municipal Party Committee. After breakfast, Minghui immediately came to the hotel after receiving my call, and then Lü Liangzhong of the art museum, Wei Xiangtao and Gao Guang from the creative studio, Mr. Liu from the art institute, Zhu Lei from the literary journal "Changbai Mountain", and Yu and Jin Er from the literary association came one after another. Everyone talked happily together, and by noon, Ming Hui was the host and had lunch together. In the afternoon, Lu Minghui and Gao Guang continued to talk with me, and dinner was served in a small restaurant called "Four Five Six". The next morning, I went to xinhua bookstore alone; at noon, Gao Guangzuo invited me to dinner, and Minghui and others accompanied me.

In the two days of Tonghua, I ate with Gao Guang twice, to be precise, I drank wine twice, and I talked while drinking wine. He told me that he had now rewritten martial arts novels, and that the editor of the publishing house now lived in his house waiting for the manuscript. He said bluntly that martial arts novels are easy to publish, with large print counts and high manuscript fees, although the most loved is still pure literature, but in the face of reality, they have to transform. However, his martial arts novel signature is "Xiong Mu". He also revealed that he could write several martial arts novels at the same time.

Since the early 1990s in the field of martial arts novels, Xiong Mu has written more than 40 85 martial arts novels in 10 years, stacked taller than half a person. These novels have been purchased by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in China alone, as well as Singapore, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and other countries, and a total of 33 copies. After reading Xiong Mu's novel, the domestic critic Wang Gan exclaimed: "I always feel that Jin Yong, who Chinese mainland, has appeared!" Afterwards, people learned that this Xiong Mu, who wrote martial arts novels, was the highlight of writing avant-garde novels. At this time, he had already joined the ranks of the "Five Great Masters of Chinese Martial Arts" and was known as "the first martial artist in the mainland".

At the end of the 90s, Xiong Mu, who wrote martial arts novels, used his real name Gao Guang again, suddenly entered the field of historical novels, and handed over 3 historical novels such as "Hatred of the King of Qin", "Tears of Xi Shi" and "Tiger Rune" to the publishing house at one time, and also handed over the detailed articles he was going to write 40 historical novels, which surprised everyone in the audience. In the spring of 2003, Kunlun Publishing House published these three works. People who have read these 3 historical novels have said that the highlight of the historical novel is written in a unique style, not only does not lose the purity of literature, but also compatible with the tastes of the public, contains many elements of modern novels; it is by no means like some historical novels that only stick to historical facts, the text is boring and dry, and the story drags mud and water. In January 2005, the historical novel "Confucius" published by Kunlun Publishing House was the one that Gao Guang wrote with the most effort, and it was also the one with the thickest and most ideological and cultural content. Some critics believe that the courage to write historical novels against Confucius is enough to show that he is a writer who does not hesitate to challenge his own abilities. It is gratifying that in this novel, Gao Guang for the first time broke through the limits of writing Confucius and wrote Confucius and his disciples to life.

In addition to creating novels, Gao Guang is also involved in film and television planning and screenwriting, is the main planner of the TV series "Breaking into the Guandong" trilogy, "Harbin at Night", "Steel Soul" and other screenwriters; has collaborated with Zhao Baogang, Tian Zhuangzhuang, Zhang Li, Battle and other famous directors.

Although the works are equal, whether it is Gao Guang or Xiong Mu, they have always been very low-key, and rarely appear in the media publicly. I am not surprised by this: the writers and poets in Jilin Province who became famous in those years were transferred to the provincial capital of Changchun, while Gao Guang insisted on the tonghua of the mountain city and wrote silently. I once wrote an article saying that China's first prolific writer is the old-school martial arts novelist Huan Zhu Lou, with a total word count of more than 40 million; then i wrote an article saying that the total number of words in the novels published by Hong Kong writer Liu Yihuan alone has 60 or 70 million, in addition to a large number of poetry, essays, new literary research papers, film reviews, translation masterpieces, etc., with a total of more than 80 million words, there is no problem, far more than the owner of the Zhu Lou. These two have long been ancient, and Gao Guang's creation is still continuing, and it is very promising to catch up with the momentum.
