They felt that the present moment was no longer a manifestation of their abilities, so they began to write prophecies to predict what would happen in the future.
Zhuge Liang wrote a "Lesson Before the Horse", Yuan Tiangang wrote a "Push Back Map", Liu Bowen wrote a "Burning Cake Song", these three prophecies perfectly predicted what will happen in the future, today we focus on Liu Bowen's "Burning Cake Song".
Liu Bowen is Zhu Yuanzhang's right hand and left arm, helping Zhu Yuanzhang unify the world, so the folk legend is that "Zhuge Liang of the three worlds, one unified The Jiangshan Liu Bowen".
After the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang was more interested in the Ming Dynasty, he wanted to know how many years the Ming Dynasty could exist, he knew that Liu Bowen would calculate the guahui prophecy, so he found Liu Bowen.
Zhu Yuanzhang did not ask Liu Bowen directly, but tested him first. Zhu Yuanzhang took a burnt cake, took a bite, and then put it in a bowl to let Liu Bowen guess what it was.
Liu Bowen pinched his fingers and read a poem: "Half like the sun and half like the moon, once bitten by a golden dragon!" ”
Zhu Yuanzhang also understood what this meant, and he knew that Liu Bowen had already answered.
Zhu Yuanzhang saw Liu Bowen's level and began to step into the right topic, asking how many years the Ming Dynasty's Guozuo was. Regarding the matter of Guo Zuo, it is very sensitive and cannot be said lightly.
Tang Taizong once asked Yuan Tiangang how many years the Tang Dynasty could have? Yuan Tiangang did not say it directly, but said that when the pig went up the tree, Datang would die. Originally, Tang Taizong felt that this was fake, but later it was true.
Now Zhu Yuanzhang asked Liu Bowen how many years the Ming Dynasty could have, and although Liu Bowen knew, he couldn't say it explicitly, so he gave Zhu Yuanzhang the "Song of Burning Cakes" he wrote, let him realize it himself, and said that the heavenly opportunity could not be leaked!
Soon after, Liu Bowen died, and before he died he took a bite of the burnt cake. So why did Liu Bowen bite the burnt cake?
Because in the "Song of Burning Cakes", he wrote that Zhu Yuanzhang would look for him to speculate on the fortunes of the country, and he would eat burnt cakes before he died, in order to verify the accuracy of the prophecy, Liu Bowen took a bite of the burnt cake.
In "The Song of Burning Cakes", Liu Bowen predicted the events of the eight hundred years after the Ming Dynasty, which can be described as very accurate, and I have to admire Liu Bowen's wisdom!
