Puyi is the last emperor of our country, and as the last emperor, his life has two stages that are completely opposite to each other. The feudal emperor in the first half of his life and the commoner in the second half of his life. The emperors of other dynasties usually coexisted with the country and died with the state when they underwent a change of dynasty, and they were martyred. Puyi, as the last emperor, is both unfortunate and lucky, fortunately, his dynasty is not another feudal dynasty, but an era of equality for everyone, so Puyi can live safely as a commoner until he is old. Even at that time, the government would pay him "living expenses" every year, although these living expenses were gradually decreasing every year, but Puyi's material life was still good.
Thanks to the many treasures that Puyi took away when he escaped from the palace, each of these things is worth a fortune, and when Puyi has no income, these treasures can be sold for countless money to support his life. However, although Puyi sold countless treasures in the palace in order to survive, there was one thing he never thought of selling, and even he sewed this object into his clothes and carried it with him for 26 years, never willing to leave his body, that is, Tian Huang Sanlian Seal.
Qianlong Seal, priceless treasure
What can make Puyi carry it as a treasure will certainly not be an ordinary treasure. The TianHuang Triple Seal is the seal of the Qianlong Emperor, and it can be called a priceless treasure both then and now. Even if this jade seal is not Qianlong's item, its own value can be called extremely valuable.
As the name suggests, the raw material is Tian Huang jade, the style is three jade connections, and the use is the seal. Tian Huangyu, also known as Tian Huangshi, is a very precious seal stone variety, belonging to the Shoushan stone system, since ancient times, there has been the title of "King of Ten Thousand Stones", which is enough to see its preciousness.
And this piece of Tian Huang Triple Seal, although very small, each piece is only about 3 square centimeters, but it is carved by a very large piece of Tian Topaz, and the three small pieces are connected together by a chain made of the same Tian Topaz, the chain and the seal are integrated, there is no trace of splicing and adhesion, which shows the superb craftsmanship. Therefore, even if there is no jade seal that has nothing to do with the emperor, its own raw material value and process value are immeasurable.
When this piece of Ertian Huang Sanlian Seal was made, Qianlong was no longer an emperor, but a taishang emperor. The words engraved on these 3 small seals are "Only Jing Unique", "Lotte", and "Qianlong Chenhan". "Qianlong Chenhan" means that this is Qianlong's seal, "Chenhan" refers to ink treasures, codexes, etc., and the four words "Qianlong Chenhan" are stamped to indicate that this is Qianlong's work.
The inscriptions on the seals of the other two sides also have their own meanings. "Only the essence of the only one" comes from the "Shang Shu Da Yu Mo", which means that people need to be attentive and meticulous, and Qianlong uses this to express his thinking of governing the country. And "Lotte" comes from "Lotte knows his destiny, so he is not worried", to the effect that he obeys the destiny of heaven and does not worry and fear because of some unwarranted obsession. Qianlong was an emperor who liked to create very much, so he also loved all kinds of seals, his private small seals had thousands, and Tian Huang Sanlian Seal was one of his favorites.
Treasures and priceless national treasures
As one of Qianlong's favorite small seals, Tian Huang Sanlian Seal was later regarded as a treasure by his descendant Puyi. Puyi never thought of using this seal to replace money even in the most difficult time, and even he carried this treasure with him for 26 years, never leaving his body, enough to see its preciousness. However, it is such a precious and important treasure that was donated to the country by Puyi free of charge after 26 years of not leaving his body.
In 1950, during the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, China's economic support was insufficient, and people donated money and materials to show their support for the country. Although Puyi is now a commoner, and it is no longer his responsibility to live in the life of the people, he still has a patriotic heart, and he donated this Tian Huang SanlianXi, which he has treasured for 26 years, to the country. Later, this treasure was transferred to the National Museum by the relevant institutions, and now it has become the treasure of the Museum, which is the national treasure of our country.
In fact, when Puyi first fell in the Qing Dynasty, he did not immediately accept his status as a commoner, after all, he was once an emperor, and he had the idea of restoring the Qing Dynasty. But later, Puyi also accepted a new type of ideological education, and his own deep-rooted concepts began to change, and finally he was no longer shackled by the old feudal ideas, and completely became a commoner in a new era. Although the Tian Huang Triptych Seal did not become a real "gold and silver treasure", it was treasured by the museum as a collection. However, this treasure, which is precious in its own exquisite craftsmanship and materials, carries the significance of the national era, and highlights the political thought of Qianlong, is a priceless treasure, and it can be treasured and inherited to achieve national significance and unlimited value.
