The first engraving is "Only the Essence is The Only One", from the Shang Shu Da Yu Mo: "The human heart is in danger, the Dao heart is small, the only essence is the only one, and it is allowed to be in the middle." The main meaning is to think of danger in times of peace, which shows Qianlong's ruling ideology that at all times it is necessary to guard against microaggressions, maintain a high degree of vigilance at all times, and exert great efforts to maintain the country's long-term peace and stability. The second engraved is "Lotte", taken from the "Zhou Yi Dictionary": "Lotte knows his destiny, so he is not worried." That is to say, we must conform to the natural laws between heaven and earth and understand the true meaning and value of life. National governance should be carried out in accordance with the heavens and benefit the people.
This last piece is "Qianlong Chenhan", which means Qianlong Emperor Hanmo. In addition, the way these three jade seals are engraved is also very interesting, "only the essence of the only one" for the yin seal engraving, the seal is in the form of a private seal of the Han Dynasty, taking the palindrome arrangement, staggering the same two "only" characters and extending the upper end of the two characters are in order to achieve the full and symmetrical, harmonious and beautiful effect of the entire printing surface. "Lotte" is a Yang script, with two characters in the center, and the left and right sides are decorated with a stingray, making the seal surface dynamic and quite the style of the Han Dynasty seal.
