The Sinicization of Impressionism is an important chapter in the history of contemporary Korean art. It represents the value of the internationalization of Korean art. It is also the focus of identifying important artists at the moment. Jin Yonglu is the most representative artist. His oil painting creations contributed to the maturity of the nationalization of Oil painting in Korea. This is also the consensus of Chinese and foreign collectors since the 1990s.

Jin Yonglu's landscape oil painting presents a world experienced by his own unique vision.
He was like a scrutinizer. A subtle experience of the scenery, there is a cave and a candle. The work depicts the support of order and the respect for nature. In his works, there is a state of abundance wrapped in things: neat farmland, layered mountains, dappled light and shadow... He stood on the top of the mountain, sat by the lake, walked in the field, shook hands with every leaf, embraced every beam of light, whispered with the rivers, lakes and seas, and then shared the poetry that touched him and the moments in time to those who loved life.
Unlike traditional Korean landscape oil paintings, Kim Yong-rok does not pursue "aesthetic beauty", but pursues "'objects' stripped from the landscape". Each of these works makes us really believe that he is in it and is done on the spot. Even, we can feel the reaction force refracted by the scenery after being gazed at: the subject of the work is always alive into the field of vision, not so much that the viewer is reading the work, but rather that the work is examining the viewer's heart.
The scenery in Jin Yonglu's eyes is pure and clear, with traces of time. Short and dense brushstrokes and techniques of varying intensity have become the distinctive features of his works. We can see the seasons from the light and shadow depicted in them, and we can guess the time period, and the passing time becomes a warm eternity under his pen.
If creation is the accumulation of an emotional experience, then Jin Yonglu must be grateful for the scenery he has read and the time he has dabbled in. After all, only love can withstand the long years.
