——Appreciation of Xie Changqing's landscape oil paintings

"Behind the painting, the pulse of the painter beats." Oil painting originated from the tempera painting in European painting before the 15th century, oil painting with its unique texture, bringing the viewer to the artistic realm reflected by the painter, and generating ideological and emotional resonance.

Oil painter Mr. Xie Changqing moved to California in 1990 and lives in Phillipmont, California. After arriving in the United States, he went to the O'Lonley College of Art in California to study oil painting for three years, studying the history of European and American art, and studied under Jian James wu, a professor at the San Francisco School of Art,000 (Art Academy of San Francisco), to systematically explore and study the development system of classical and modern Western oil painting.

Under the influence of Western oil painting style, Teacher Xie Changqing has gradually formed his own artistic style, and his scenery, unique charm and far-reaching artistic conception, rigorous and balanced structure, rich and delicate colors, make the viewer unforgettable. Closing my eyes in reverie, it was as if I could hear the crashing waves of the bay, and the sun had already sprinkled on my face.

What is more gripping than the external visual symbols is the inner spiritual meaning of the picture. In terms of artistic creation, Teacher Xie Changqing is not only an objective depiction of natural scenery, but also a summary and condensation of natural feelings and artistic conceptions after deeply feeling nature, and the picture is quiet and long, giving people an otherworldly natural interest...
