Since ancient times, those who have won the Central Plains have won the world. This statement is by no means true, and the Central Plains region represented by Henan has always been known for its talents and key positions. In fact, during the Three Kingdoms period of Jinge Iron Horse and herds of deer, too many famous generals from Henan were created. And the truly outstanding top players are the following six:
First: Huang Zhong
Zi Hansheng, a native of Nanyang (present-day Nanyang, Henan), was a famous general at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty and one of the Five Tiger Generals of the Shu Han Dynasty.
He was originally a general under Liu Biao, and later returned to Liu Bei. Since then, Huang Zhong has made great achievements in battle and made great contributions to the establishment of the Shu Han regime.
In the nineteenth year of Jian'an (214), Huang Zhong accompanied Liu Bei and led an army to besiege Chengdu. Dozens of days later, Liu Zhang surrendered. After Liu Bei entered Chengdu, he rewarded him for his merits and appointed Huang Zhong as a general.
In the 24th year of Jian'an (219 AD), Huang Zhong beheaded Cao Cao's famous general Xiahou Yuan (夏侯元) in the Battle of DingjunShan, and Wei Zhen Cao's camp was promoted to general of Zhengxi. Liu Bei was given the title of Queen of Hanzhong and was given the title of Marquis of Guannei.
It can be said that Huang Zhong is a rare member of Liu Bei's group, a typical representative of the old and strong, and a leading figure of Henan famous generals during the Three Kingdoms period.
Second place: Deng Ai
Zi Shi zai ( 字士載 ) was a native of Zhiyang ( present-day Xinye , Henan ) , an outstanding military figure and top general of the State of Wei during the Three Kingdoms period. He is a humanistic and martial all-rounder, proficient in the art of war, and also quite accomplished in internal affairs.
In 263, he and Zhong Hui led separate armies to attack Shu Han, and finally he took the lead in entering Chengdu, causing the shu Han to perish.
Deng Ai had a far-sighted vision in the war, superhuman insights, and a lofty strategic mind. In previous battles, he has always been able to anticipate the enemy's opportunities, always grasp the initiative on the battlefield, and has not been defeated in several battles with Jiang Wei. His smuggling of Yinping was arguably the most outstanding of all the battles in The History of Chinese Warfare, and has been recorded in history as a masterpiece in military history.
In fact, the Cao Wei regime was able to maintain the strongest of the Three Kingdoms, especially in the later period, and many of Deng Ai's political and military ideas played a great role. History has proved that Deng Ai's military talent in the late Three Kingdoms period can be described as a leader.
Third place: Wei Yan
Ziwen Chang, a native of Yiyang (present-day Tongbai, Henan), was a famous general of the Shu Han Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period, and a rare general under Liu Bei's account.
In fact, during Liu Bei's lifetime, Wei Yan was deeply valued by Liu Bei. When Liu Bei entered Sichuan, Wei Yan was appointed as the general of Yamen because of his military achievements. After Liu Bei captured Hanzhong, he promoted him to the rank of general of Zhenyuan, led Hanzhong Taishou and Zhenshou Hanzhong, and became a general on his own side. Wei Yanzhen guarded Hanzhong for nearly ten years, and then repeatedly accompanied Zhuge Liang on the Northern Expedition, with remarkable achievements.
Although Wei Yan's final fate was tragic, his military ability was undoubtedly outstanding among the famous generals of Henan in the Three Kingdoms at that time.
Fourth place: Lejin
Zi Wenqian, a native of Yangping Weiguo (present-day Qingfeng, Henan), was a famous general under Cao Cao at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty.
He followed Cao Cao with courage and heroism, followed the army for many years, conquered the south and the north, and made countless military achievements.
Throughout his life, he successively fought bravely from attacking Yuan Shao to Guandu, and beheaded Yuan Shao's general Chun Yu Qiong. He also attacked Yuan Tan and Yuan Shangyu in Liyang, and beheaded his general Yan Jing. Soon, don't hit the Yellow Turban, Yongnu, and Guan Cheng, all of which were destroyed. From Pingjing Prefecture, Liutun Xiangyang, attacked Guan Yu, Su Fei and others, repelled their people, and the valley barbarians of the Nan County all went to Lejin to surrender. Later, he enlisted Sun Quan from Cao Cao and entered the festival on a false basis. After Cao Cao returned to his division, Liu Lejin joined Zhang Liao and Li Diantun in Hefei. He also had military merit in the number of Lejin and moved to the right general.
History has proved that Lejin's life is a life of following Cao Cao and the world, and it is also a life that does not live up to Cao Cao. His military achievements and outstanding deeds are undoubtedly the best among the famous generals of Henan.
Fifth place: Dianwei
Chen Liujiwu (陳留己吾; present-day Shangqiu, Henan), was a general of Cao Cao's army at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty and Cao Cao's first personal bodyguard.
Dianwei is burly in appearance and has great strength. He originally belonged to Zhang Mi and later returned to Cao Cao. When Cao Cao was recruiting Lü Bu, he was recruited into a trap, showed heroism, and was worshiped as a lieutenant and defended Cao Cao.
In the second year of Jian'an (197), Zhang Xiu betrayed Cao Cao, and Dianwei single-handedly blocked the rebels to protect Cao Cao, killing many people, but eventually died because he was outnumbered.
It can be said that if there was no Dianwei to take his life to resist the rebels, Cao Cao would not have had time to escape, let alone survive. Because of this, when Cao Cao heard that Dianwei was dead, he couldn't help but weep bitterly, recruited spies to retrieve his body, personally wept, sent him back to Xiangyi, and worshipped his son Dianman as Langzhong.
In the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", Luo Guanzhong commented on it as: Eighty pounds of iron halberds, and meritorious construction outside Puyang City. The Savior of Dianwei spread the world, bravely and fiercely became the first person.
Sixth place: Literary employment
Zi Zhongye, a native of Nanyang Wan (present-day Nanyang, Henan), was a famous general of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period.
He was originally a general of Liu Biao in Jingzhou, guarding Jingbei, and Liu Biao used him to resist the attacks of the northern princes. After Liu Biao's death, his son Liu Chun surrendered to Cao Cao. At first, Wen Ping did not see Cao Cao until Cao Cao summoned him to meet and asked why he was late, and Wen Ping said that he could not protect the land and was ashamed to see people. Cao Cao was touched by this loyal and condescending feeling, and first choked on it, but still let him guard Jiangxia, so that he could pawn the Northern Soldiers and Zhenjingjiang.
Wen Ping also lived up to Cao Cao's expectations, and while defending the imperial Jingcheng City, he repeatedly led troops to block Guan Yu's division, attacked his weight, burned his warships, and made great achievements, becoming one of the generals that Cao Cao relied on as a barrier, and his prestige spread far and wide. Later, he was more from the conquest, and was enfeoffed as a general, the Marquis of Xinye. Subsequently, Wen Ping was stationed in Jiangxia for decades, and Wei En and Shi "shocked the enemy country" so that Sun Wu did not dare to invade.
From the top, Huang Zhong, Deng Ai, Wei Yan, Le Jin, Dianwei and Wen Ping were all the most outstanding Henan generals in the Three Kingdoms period, all of which influenced the direction of the history of the Three Kingdoms to a certain extent.
