This afternoon, under the guidance of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Civilization Office, jointly sponsored by the Municipal Radio and Television Station and the Municipal Education Bureau, and supported by Xiduoduo Supermarket Chain Co., Ltd., the fourth "Shining Red Star" Story Club TV Contest and final was brilliantly staged in the studio hall of the Municipal Radio and Television Station.
In order to further carry forward the spirit of the Soviet District and pass on the spirit of the Soviet District, on the basis of the successful holding of three competitions for three consecutive years, in 2021, under the guidance of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Creative Culture Office, and the Municipal Civilization Office, the Municipal Education Bureau and the Municipal Radio and Television Station launched the "Fourth "Flashing Red Star" Story Club Television Competition". Through activities, the aim is to continue to set off an upsurge of telling revolutionary historical stories, red revolution stories, and telling stories of heroic figures in primary and secondary schools in our city, so that young students in our city can use stories as a medium to relive the glory and history of their revolutionary ancestors with their own actions, language, and literary creations, guide young students in our city to learn from heroic and exemplary figures, buckle the first button of life, and strive to become "Good Hakka Teenagers" in the new era of loving the Cpc, the motherland, and the people from an early age.
The fourth Flashing Red Star Story Club TV Contest was launched in June this year, the city's primary and secondary schools responded positively, a total of nearly 1,000 players participated in the activity, covering more than 500,000 people; through the county (city, district) selection competition some time ago, a total of 10 groups of players entered today's final.
"The Little Ghost Class on Matou Mountain", "Revolutionary Hero Liu Guangxia", "Blood Treasure Mountain, Qingshi Left a Name"... With full enthusiasm, the young players used simple and infectious language to interpret a wonderful red classic story to the audience.
Meizhou is the only prefecture-level city in Guangdong that belongs to the former Central Soviet District, the hometown of Marshal Ye Jianying, and a deep red land. Telling the story of the new era, telling the red story, telling the story of Meizhou, passing on a good voice, and highlighting the new style have important practical and historical significance. The "Flashing Red Star" Story Club TV Contest sponsored by Meizhou Radio and Television Station has been successfully held for four sessions so far. The event takes the competition as the medium, radio and television and new media as the window, and continuously expands the spread and influence of red culture, so that the red gene can be passed on from generation to generation.
