The competition was held in Kansai in 1979 as the "High School and Junior High School Light Music Club Competition, which aims to give light music club students the opportunity to present their practical achievements on an off-campus stage." After that, we expanded the Kanto region, which is the 42nd this year, as the first national high school light music club championship "We SNEAKER AGES", we want to be the target of more light music clubs, therefore, we make it a national championship.

Video qualifiers and live trials are held in 8 regions across the country. The 15 winning delegates participated in the First National Games and performed lively. By participating in this competition, students of the Light Music Club will face the joys and difficulties of music with their colleagues and strive to create "music that brings music to the hearts of the audience".

GreyeeN, a male vocal group that supports the purpose of the competition, created the theme song of the competition, hoping to provide "Yale" to members of the light music club who continue to practice for the national championship to support their activities. The new competition theme song "Green Vegetables" is included in GreeeEN's new album "Baby Teeth", released on Wednesday, December 22.
