Located in Tianshou Mountain, Changping District, Beijing, the Ming Tombs were built between 1409 and 1645, and are known as the Ming Tombs because thirteen of the Sixteen Emperors of the Ming Dynasty were buried here. Covering an area of 40 square kilometers, the mausoleum is the largest imperial mausoleum in China and even in the world. In order to discover the secrets of the Ming Tombs, in the 1950s, Wu Han and Guo Moruo, vice mayors of Beijing, proposed a plan to excavate the Ming Tombs, when only the Dingling Tombs were excavated, which was the tomb of the Wanli Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, but the strange events that occurred during the excavation process have not been explained by science.

In the winter of 1955, Wu Han and others officially implemented the plan to excavate the Ming Tombs, which was originally planned to dig the Changling Tomb first, which was the tomb of the Yongle Emperor Zhu Di. At that time, Zhao Qichang led dozens of people to start excavation work, but digging and digging, it rained heavily, Beijing's winter is rarely heavy rain, heavy rain has lasted for two months, excavation work was forced to stop, and strangely, after the rain stopped, many workers Mo Ming became ill, many women in the surrounding villages inexplicably launched a madness, and the villagers went on strike and prevented the archaeological team from excavating.
Two months of excavation fruitless, the archaeological team can only go to excavate the Dingling Tomb, this excavation is very smooth, not only in-depth to find the tomb of the Wanli Emperor, but also found a large number of gold and silver jewelry, just when the archaeological team was happy, strange things happened again, is Zhao Qichang and others preparing to enter the underground palace for the second time, suddenly heard a loud noise in the sky, a thunder and lightning clicked down, strange, how can there be thunder in the daytime? Lightning split a stone lion in half of the mausoleum, but the archaeological team still forced their heads into the dungeon, but when they came out, they found that the two staff members guarding the entrance of the dungeon had fainted on the ground.
The archaeological team had to stop the excavation, and the two staff members rescued the staff for a day before waking up, but the strange thing did not stop. The nanmu excavated from the tomb was picked up by nearby villagers and returned home to treasure, but two months later, all four members of the family died mysteriously, and even the staff involved in it died due to various accidents. Dingling excavated many exquisite cultural relics at that time, but because of the limited technology at that time, many cultural relics were oxidized as soon as they touched the air, and even the dragon robes of the Wanli Emperor were worn out, in order to protect the cultural relics, the state banned the excavation of these imperial tombs. And those bizarre events of that year can not be explained to this day.
