It is reported that the project settled in Haikou Mission Hills Tourism Park, with a total planned area of 1657 mu and a planned total investment of about 4.026 billion yuan.

The whole project from planning to landing probably took more than a year, and the progress of the whole promotion was also very fast, and it was the official start of construction today. According to Xu Zhixin, chairman of Hainan New Energy Vehicle Experience Center Co., Ltd., the World New Energy Vehicle Experience Center project plans to build four functional areas of new energy vehicle display and sales area, new energy vehicle experience track and auxiliary facilities, new energy vehicle testing and maintenance area, automobile culture and leisure tourism area, 3 centers of automobile design and modeling center, new energy vehicle technology research and development center, automobile testing and evaluation center, 2 platforms of new energy vehicle public data platform and charging service public platform and international talent community.
"Under the background of the comprehensive construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, we will firmly seize the once-in-a-lifetime new opportunity for the transformation and development of the 'New Four Modernizations' of the automobile industry, introduce the world's well-known new energy automobile enterprises, automobile service enterprises and travel service enterprises, and bring together the functions of intelligent new energy vehicle new car release, in-depth experience, automobile new retail and modeling design, test evaluation, and 5G-based intelligent networked vehicle testing and demonstration, and become an international new platform for domestic and foreign automobile manufacturing enterprises, automobile service enterprises and travel service enterprises." It has become an innovative new engine driving the application and industrial development of new energy vehicles in Hainan Province. The World New Energy Vehicle Experience Center project will take the lead in building a world-leading new energy vehicle experience center platform in Hainan. At the same time, the project will also build a "tourism + new energy vehicles" innovation ecological park, combined with the Hainan Provincial Ring Island Tourist Highway and Station, Hainan Smart Travel /New Energy Vehicle Public Service Platform, supporting the formation of auto culture, car life, characteristic tourism, smart travel services, leisure experience and other functions, to provide tourists with new experience services, attract tourists from all over the world to gather here, become Hainan's new automobile and tourism consumption center, new energy vehicle promotion base. At the same time, the experience center will be built into an important venue for several typical conferences and exhibitions such as the World New Energy Vehicle Conference, the World New Energy Vehicle Exhibition, and the World New Energy Vehicle Exhibition, and become the most influential industry association base such as the Automobile Circulation Association and the Tramman Association.
