The "Guizhou Historical Figures Theme Creation Exhibition of Mountain Bones and Promoting the Development Process of the Chinese Nation" was recently grandly opened at the Guizhou Art Museum. As the annual finale of the 2021 Colorful Guizhou Culture and Art Festival, this exhibition is not only a heavyweight painting exhibition to bid farewell to the old age, but also unveils the prelude to the series of actions of "Mountain Bone, Searching for the Spirit of Guizhou".
The exhibition is jointly sponsored by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guizhou Province and the Department of Education of Guizhou Province, with the Guizhou Academy of Literature and History as the academic guide, and supported and hosted by the Publicity Department of the Guiyang Municipal Party Committee, the Guiyang Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the Guizhou Art Museum, the Guiyang Zhong ShuGe and other units.
According to the general planner of this exhibition, the former deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial People's Congress, the former director of the Guizhou Provincial Research Museum of Literature and History, and the general seal of the Guizhou Library, Gu Jiu, recalling the past and imagining the future have made human beings evolve differently, full of infinite vision for the future, and finally become a human being who stands on top of the sky and the earth. The significance of this picture scroll lies in this: through the remembrance of historical sages as a Jinliang, so that today's Guizhou people can confidently embark on the journey of hope, forever to pursue the "Heavenly Dao" that has been passed down through the ages and the sunrise that will never fall in their hearts.
He said that the exhibition lasted nearly two years from planning, topic selection to creation, with guizhou sages who promoted the outstanding contributions of the chinese nation's historical process as the main line, specially invited 20 old, middle-aged and young calligraphers and painters with influence across the country to create, and finally gathered 40 pieces (groups) of works exhibited at the cost of the second exhibition, involving 52 outstanding figures in the history of Guizhou.
The "Cross-Time Dialogue" between Guizhou sages and Guizhou painters is the biggest highlight of this exhibition. In terms of the selection of characters, it includes Guizhou sages from yelang wang duotong, Han Sanxian, Haitong monk, lady luxury xiang, Gu Cheng, Wang Yangming, to Yang Longyou, He Tengjiao, Wu Zhongfan, Tian Wen, Zhou Qiwei, to Sand Sanxian, Ding Baozhen, Chen Can, Yan Xiu, Pan Xia, Li Duandi, Yao Mangfu, Zhu Qiling, Xie Liuyi and other guizhou sages from ancient times to the present; in terms of creators, Huang Tianhu, Qian Wenguan, Yang Baolin, Yang Xiaowu, Chen Zheng, Hu Shourong, Wang Jianshan and other 18 painters participated. Famous calligraphers Mr. Dai Mingxian and Mr. Zhou Yunzhen wrote the title of the exhibition.
With personalized perspectives and exquisite painting skills, the artists lead the audience through time and space together and knock on the door of history. Under the interplay of cultural spirit and artistic creation, look up at the "mountain bone" and trace the powerful source and inheritance road of the Guizhou spirit from the depths of time and space.
Lian Yuming, member of the Chinese National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, chief strategic adviser of the Guiyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and president of the Beijing International Urban Development Research Institute, said that standing in front of this exhibition is very exciting, prompting people to think deeply and urge people to forge ahead. Behind the vivid characters in this exhibition, it highlights the spirit of Guizhou's tenacious struggle and is the cultural epitome of the Chinese nation's courageous progress. In the 608 years since the establishment of Guizhou Province, there has never been such earth-shaking changes as in Guizhou today. The fundamental reason for this change is the inheritance and innovation power of cultural self-awareness, cultural self-awareness and cultural self-confidence.
On the opening day of the exhibition, under the auspices of Gu Jiu, an expert seminar on "Mountain Bones - Searching for the Spirit of Guizhou" was also held, and representatives from all walks of life, including experts in literature and history, people in the field of education, people in the press and publication circles, and the descendants of Guizhou's ancestors, discussed several special topics such as how Guizhou has moved from cultural self-knowledge to cultural self-confidence, how Guizhou historical figures interpret the Spirit of Guizhou, and how to inherit Guizhou culture.
Everyone agreed that through the creation of historical materials and artistry, as well as the unique angle of Guizhou painters painting guizhou historical figures, this exhibition is actually digging deep into the story of Guizhou and reproducing and reshaping the bones of Qianshan. "Mountain bone" is a condensed distillation of Guizhou's history and culture, and it is also a high-level summary of the spirit of Guizhou in the new era.
The exhibition will be exhibited at the Guizhou Provincial Art Museum until January 15, 2022, and the organizers will also vigorously promote it in the form of national tour exhibitions, CCTV documentaries, all-media communication, book publishing, and lecture tours.
