The first model, QQ Ice Cream, has a small and flexible appearance, and the headlight groups on both sides are "double U-shaped" design, which looks very cute. Whether it is from the perspective of styling style or product naming, the new car is committed to focusing on young consumer groups and sinking markets through cost-effective and cute style, and directly benchmarking the same level of competitor Wuling Hongguang MINIIEV.

The motor parameters of the new car are also the same as those of the competitor Hongguang MINIEV. It is reported that QQ ice cream is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor, rear-mounted rear drive, maximum torque of 85 Nm, and the maximum speed can reach 100 km/h. All three models are equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery packs, of which the pudding and cone models NEDC have a range of 120 kilometers and a charge time of about 6 hours from zero charge to full power, and the Sundae NEDC has a range of 170 kilometers and a charging time of about 8 hours.

"The best-selling of Wuling Hongguang MINIEV has further determined us to make a more in-depth layout in this market." Chery said that the goal of QQ Ice Cream is to surpass Wuling Hongguang MINIEV, or "at least not with it has too much sales gap."

According to the latest data from the China Automobile Association, the total sales volume of new energy vehicles in China reached a new monthly high in November, with single-month sales exceeding 450,000 units, an increase of 17.3% month-on-month. Among them, the first place is the "phenomenon-level" micro-new energy vehicle Wuling Hongguang MINIEV, with a single monthly sales of more than 45,000 units. On December 29, Chery Automobile released its latest sales data, showing that from January to November 2021, chery automobiles sold a total of 850,000 vehicles, an increase of 38.3% year-on-year, higher than the industry growth rate of 4.5%. At the same time, Chery proposed to ensure 1.5 million vehicles in 2022 and strive for a sales target of 2 million vehicles, and the annual operating income is expected to reach 200 billion yuan. The QQ ice cream pure electric car that takes the "price for volume" route will undoubtedly become one of the important starting points for Chery Automobile to achieve the next step of large-scale development.

On October 25, QQ Ice Cream opened reservations, and the number of orders in a single day reached 15,600 units, and the number of new car orders has exceeded 60,000. After the official listing, the production capacity of new vehicles will also face no small challenge.
