Joined the army to resist Japan
At a very young age, Liu Jinshan became an orphan, his mother died of illness when he was six years old, and two years later, his father was beaten to death for offending the local landowners. That night there was fog, the Japanese train did drive in, Liu Jinshan let the front of the car go, he jumped on the tail of the car with a few daredevils, killed the four guards in the carriage three times and five times, opened the door and looked, it was indeed cotton clothes, and there were a lot of grain and medicine, Liu Jinshan took the daredevils to throw things to both sides of the railway, and the migrant workers waiting on the side moved things away one by one, and after a while, the carriage was empty.

After the Liberation War, the number of the railway brigade was cancelled, and the railway brigade was reorganized into the "Lunan Railway Bureau", Liu Jinshan was reappointed as the deputy director, and led the troops to participate in the Lunan Campaign, contributing to the liberation of all Of China.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Liu Jinshan was transferred to the chief of staff of the Eighth Subdistrict of the Zhejiang Military Region, and in 1957, Liu Jinshan was awarded the rank of colonel and transferred to the deputy commander of the Nantong Military Subdistrict in Jiangsu Province.
In 1954, the writer Liu Zhixia wrote a medium-length anti-Japanese novel "Railway Guerrilla" based on Liu Jinshan's legendary experience.
In 1956, the Shanghai Film Studio made a film of the same name based on Liu Zhixia's work, which swept the country, and Liu Hong, the leader of the railway guerrillas as the protagonist, also became a classic screen image, occupying the memory of a generation.
