In 1910, Hong Zhenhai was born in Dabeitang Village, Yangzhuang Town, Tengzhou City, Shandong Province.
Like many people at that time, my parents were authentic farmers, and the family was even poorer. Due to family reasons, Hong Zhenhai has been dealing with railways and trains since childhood.
In order to subsidize his family, Hong Zhenhai often picked up dropped coal blocks on the side of the railway, and even often picked up the running train for this purpose, so he also trained the skill of flying on the train with one hand, which was called "Scud" by the people around him.
Because he was uninhibited, hot-hearted, and dared to think and dare to do, he soon attracted a group of like-minded people. At this time, I am afraid that they will not think that in the future they will become part of the anti-Japanese resistance.

In 1937, the Japanese army launched the Lugou Bridge Incident and invaded North China. Eight months later, Shandong was also brutally attacked by the Japanese army and occupied by the Japanese army. In Tengzhou, Hong Zhenhai and others watched this group of arrogant invaders who oppressed the people. Indignation grew. But with only a few of his brothers and unarmed hands, how could he fight with the well-equipped and well-trained Japanese army?
Although Hong Zhenhai is arrogant, he is also very good at thinking. This will not work, and an organization must be found specifically to fight against the devils. But where to go? This is not a difficult task for Hong Zhenhai, who has long heard about the glorious deeds of our party.
After preparing for some time, Hong Zhenhai took Wang Zhisheng and others to the tomb hill where the people's anti-Japanese armed forces in Yixian County were stationed.
Here, they officially joined the Lunan People's Anti-Japanese Volunteer Corps, led by our Party. Because Hong Zhenhai was determined to resist Japan, he was full of vigor and brave in battle. He was soon promoted, successively promoted to squad leader and platoon leader, and became the backbone figure of the grassroots of the Lunan People's Anti-Japanese Armed Forces.
In October 1939, the Anti-Japanese Volunteer Brigade decided to establish a secret intelligence station in Xiaochenzhuang, Zaozhuang, due to Hong Zhenhai's outstanding performance and taking into account Hong Zhenhai's familiarity with the local situation. The organization sent Hong Zhenhai as the head of the intelligence station.
During his days at the intelligence station, he pretended to be a tramp and found out the Japanese stationing along the railway line by picking up coal and climbing trains. The number of soldiers, the supply of materials, and the distribution of firepower are not left behind. It provides valuable first-hand information for the volunteer team.
At the same time, the intelligence station also provided a large amount of supplies to the volunteers. In the late autumn of 1939, the volunteer brigade headquarters ordered the Zaozhuang intelligence station, hoping that they could find a way to get some weapons to come over. At this time, Hong Zhenhai's brother and comrade-in-arms Wang Zhisheng was working as a porter for the Japanese, and Hong Zhenhai instructed Wang Zhisheng to say:
"The headquarters has written a letter and needs to get some weapons, so you should pay attention to it."
Wang Zhisheng gladly agreed.
Soon after, Wang Zhisheng hurriedly arrived, too late to drink water, and breathlessly said to Hong Zhenhai: "Old Hong, there are weapons!" He also said the information that the weapon was hidden in the straw pile, as well as the marks he had made on the corresponding carriage. Hong Zhenhai was overjoyed after hearing this, and finalized his decision, this is the batch.
At eight o'clock that night, Hong Zhenhai took a pistol and a tiger-headed tong, hidden on the side of the railway line. Watching the train slowly approach, Hong Zhenhai concentrated and stared at the carriage silently. After a while, he saw him leap forward and grab the handlebar on the side of the car. Before the great inertia pushed him out, he slammed into the train and managed to board the train.
When he got to the front of the car, he cut the thick wire at the door with the tiger's head pliers and quickly burrowed into the car. Hong Zhenhai ripped open the corner of the straw pile, and a machine gun was impressively inside. He quickly threw the bundle of straw out of the car and searched for the next one.
When he threw it to the third bundle, the train sounded a whining whistle, which was a signal that the train was about to arrive at the station. Although Hong Zhenhai was anxious in his heart, he also knew that once the train entered the station, he could no longer leave it. After dropping two more bundles of straw piles, Hong Zhen Customs got on the door and leapt out.
After the train left, Wang Zhisheng and others also came one after another. They gathered the guns and ammunition they dropped together and counted. There were two machine guns, twelve rifles and two boxes of bullets. The next day, they gave all these weapons to the headquarters for use, and they were commended by the corps.
These weapons on the battlefield will definitely allow us to kill more devils, Hong Zhenhai thought in his heart. But what boy doesn't have a hot-blooded dream and doesn't want to be able to kill the enemy again?
At the beginning of 1940, with the expansion of the Zaozhuang intelligence station, weapons and equipment were increasingly complete. Hong Zhenhai and others believed that the time was ripe to establish an anti-Japanese armed force, so they submitted a report to their superiors on the establishment of the Lunan Railway Brigade.
After consideration by their superiors, they approved their report, appointed Hong Zhenhai as the captain, Wang Zhisheng as the deputy captain, and sent Du Jiwei as the political commissar. In this way, the Lunan Railway Brigade, which was later commonly known as the Railway Guerrilla and flying tigers, was established.
Under the leadership of Hong Zhenhai, the railway guerrillas began to carry out frequent harassment operations along the Japanese railway line. Due to the small casualties and many achievements, the railway team soon became famous.
In July of the same year, the Sulu branch of the Eighth Route Army decided to merge Zaozhuang and several guerrilla groups around Lincheng to form the Lunan Railway Guerrilla Brigade, with the leader still Hong Zhenhai. The strength of the railway guerrillas has increased greatly! There are more things that can be done.
For the intelligence security of the party organization, but also so that they would not be discovered, Hong Zhenhai and others decided to attack the enemy's intelligence department
。 On the south side of the Zaozhuang Railway Station, there is an enemy secret service disguised as a foreign company.
As long as this place is destroyed, the enemy will be blind in both eyes. Thinking of this, Hong Zhenhai and others made a decision to raid this so-called "foreign firm."
After gathering enough intelligence, they decided to act immediately. That night, Hong Zhenhai led four groups of team members and took advantage of the night to touch the edge of the foreign company. There was a power grid in the wall, so they decided to dig a hole and drill in. To reduce the sound of digging the wall, they wrapped the iron braze in sack cloth. Although inefficient, it is better than safety. After tossing and turning for a while, a small hole was finally dug.
The team members fished in and deployed neatly and effectively under the instructions of Hong Zhenhai. With Hong Zhenhai's order, four groups of team members went out at the same time. The Japanese agents were killed and wounded in a hurry.
As the captain, Hong Zhenhai wandered around to fight. The battle was soon over. The team members were very excited, but Hong Zhenhai still had a calm face, and if he did not retreat for a moment, the danger would be one more point. The reinforcements of the Japanese army arrived immediately, and seeing that it was too late to retreat, Hong Zhenhai's mind turned sharply, and after consulting with everyone for a moment, he decided to leave the gate with his team.
They used axes to split the iron locks of the gates, and with the captured guns and ammunition and other supplies, they flew away. In an instant, it disappeared into the night. After the Japanese reinforcements arrived, only the bodies of the agents in one place were found, and they were furious.
The actions of the railway guerrillas in the Lunan area made the Japanese army very jealous. To this end, the Japanese army set up a special intelligence station and trained an elite special forces, because the leader was named Gaogang, so it was called "Gaogang Special Operations Squad".
This squad has been following the trail of the railway guerrillas, trying to annihilate the guerrillas with advanced equipment and powerful firepower. Hong Zhenhai and others also heard about this squad, but the enemy was in the light and in the dark. Hong Zhenhai decided to take the initiative to find the door before they found their side, and gave them a surprise pot end.
One night in October, captain Hong Zhenhai and political commissar Du Jiwei led the team to disguise themselves as Japanese puppet troops. With the connection of the inner line, it crossed the blockade ditch and entered the Lincheng Railway Station. The puppet sentry on the platform saw the "commander" leading the team and hurriedly saluted.
Hong Zhenhai took advantage of the moment when he relaxed his vigilance and quickly ended him with a dagger. The team members also used the same method to solve other puppet armies. In a few moments, the platform was controlled by Hong Zhenhai and others.
They blocked the crossing, wary of their surroundings. Hong Zhenhai sent Wang Zhisheng and his team member Liu Jinshan to rush to Gao Gang's residence to complete the beheading operation. Wang Zhisheng rushed to the front of Gao Gang's room, cooperated with Liu Jinshan, and when Gao Gang was writing a letter, he unknowingly killed him.
Subsequently, after Hong Zhenhai and others had killed all the enemies in the room, they picked up the weapons and ammunition in the room and quietly left. It was not until half a month later that the Japanese army learned that Gao Gang had died at the hands of Hong Zhenhai and others.
Although the enemy strictly guarded the railway trunk line, in the eyes of the railway guerrillas led by Hong Zhenhai, there were still many loopholes. Hong Zhenhai led his team members to blow up bridges, crashed into car heads, picked up railroad tracks, and grabbed supplies. Like a ghostly ghost, it is erratic, but the first shot is thunderous, giving the Japanese army such a fierce knife in the back.
The Japanese army was afraid and hated the railway guerrillas, and many times made up its mind to completely eliminate the railway guerrillas, but frequently failed. At the end of 1941, the railway guerrillas encountered the Japanese army at Huangbuzhuang.

Because the enemy was outnumbered and the gap in firepower was too large, Hong Zhenhai and others were forced to break through.

When the guerrillas came back, the team members looked at Hong Zhenhai's body and were devastated. But they still have to inherit the legacy of Captain Hong Zhenhai, and they can't just fall like this.
They found a quiet place to bury the beloved captain. Wiping away tears and turning grief into strength, they will continue to write a new chapter for the railway guerrillas.
Although Hong Zhenhai was unfortunately sacrificed, his indomitable spirit, spirit of resistance, and spirit of loving the party will also remain in the memory of the people from generation to generation, forming a kind of inheritance, generation after generation, and passing on the torch.
