December 29 (Zhang Jian) On December 28, the "Chinese and Foreign Art Parlor" jointly built by China Culture International Travel Service Co., Ltd. and Beijing Zhongchuang Cultural Tourism Cultural Industry Group met the museum and Shanghai Jing'an Pavilion to receive public tourists. As the first offline flagship museum of "Meet the Museum" in East China, "Meet the Golden Mummy of Ancient Egypt" also made a wonderful appearance on the same day.

It is reported that "Meeting the Golden Mummy of Ancient Egypt" came to Shanghai after the special exhibition in Beijing. The most noteworthy exhibit is the 6 golden mummies from ancient Egypt around the 1st century AD during the "Greco-Roman" period. The exhibition also includes 11 fayoum mummies from about 2,000 years ago and 2 portrait mummies, 12 gilded painted mummified masks, and 18 ancient Greek-style deities, sculptures, stone tablets and other treasures.

Qiu Tong, chairman of Beijing Zhongchuang Cultural Tourism Cultural Industry Group, introduced that before coming to Shanghai, there have been three stops of the exhibition, namely New York in the United States and Beijing in China. Qiu Tong said: "Everyone hopes to see these very rare cultural relics, then these cultural relics actually have their own very special places." The golden mummy was not very common in the entire history of this, it existed in the late period of ancient Egypt, which is known as cleopatra."

During the interview, the reporter learned that the exhibition of these European cultural relics is a traveling exhibition project of the Encounter Museum and the Manchester Museum in the United Kingdom from 2020 to 2022, so as to play a bridge role in building cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.

Li Jinsheng, chairman of the China International Culture Group, told reporters: "I think the main purpose here is two, one is to promote more cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, and to enhance cultural exchanges and mutual learning. Another thing is that we bring more international and domestic excellent art and culture to the people of Shanghai to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of local people."

It is reported that the Encounter Museum Shanghai Jing'an Pavilion will rely on the China Foreign Culture Group to hold 8 to 10 exhibitions of authentic works of art and the "Encounter" series of original light and shadow art exhibitions every year, and from time to time carry out activities such as "Art Salon" and "Diplomat's Night", contributing to Shanghai's construction into an outstanding global city and a socialist modern international metropolis.
