In China's long history, rulers of successive dynasties, in order to consolidate their own dominance, often brainwashed the people, that is, to confuse the people with various religious terms, so that they did not dare to rebel because of fear, and they believed that in this way they could preserve their own dynasty and could be passed down through the ages.

As a dynasty with a fairly developed economy and culture, the popularity of the founding emperor Zhu Yuanzhang can definitely be counted among the previous emperors. And people also know that most of the dynasties are replaced in large part because of the corruption of the previous dynasty, which led to the people's lack of livelihood, so that the officials forced the people to rebel, and finally overthrew the former dynasty and established a new dynasty, which was how Zhu Yuanzhang ascended to the throne and became the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty.
Like many rulers, he was a great believer in Buddhism and built various temples in various places, and he would also go to the temples to worship the Buddha. However, once when he arrived at a temple, he asked the abbot if he wanted to kneel, and the abbot replied that he saved the lives of all the monks in the temple.
Speaking of Zhu Yuanzhang, he has a strong legendary color. Born in a poor family, he has been quite sensible since he was a child, and he will help his parents to do farm work in the fields and reduce the burden on his family as much as possible. However, his parents and brother died, and he has been even more lonely ever since, and he was still young at the time, and after burying his family, he became a homeless orphan.
In desperation, he thought of becoming a monk, so that he could at least have a bite to eat and a place to sleep. When he came to the temple and explained his intentions to the abbot, the abbot was silent for half a moment, thinking that he had a rich and noble appearance, and he must have a bright future in the future, and he should not have stayed in the temple, but seeing that he was young and helpless, he still decided to take him in. And Zhu Yuanzhang did not disappoint the abbot, and in the days of living in the monastery, he showed quite industriousness.
In the last years of the Yuan Dynasty, due to the brutality of the rulers, peasants everywhere rose up one after another, and zhu Yuanzhang's temple was closed for various reasons. He decided to defect to the rebel army and joined Guo Zixing's rebel army. In the army, because Zhu Yuanzhang was very clever and good at fighting, he was quickly appreciated by Guo Zixing, who not only promoted him to the position of commander, but also later married his daughter to him.
In the army, as Zhu Yuanzhang's status became higher and higher, he finally defeated his opponent and led the rebel army to successfully overthrow the Yuan Dynasty and establish the Ming Dynasty. Because he came from a poor peasant family and knew that the life of the people at the bottom was not easy, he vigorously developed agriculture and the economy at the beginning of the founding of the dynasty, so that the economy damaged by years of war was quickly restored.
While developing production, he also vigorously promoted Buddhism, and many temples that had previously been closed reopened to accept pilgrims from all over the world to worship the Buddha, including the temple where Zhu Yuanzhang once stayed. Zhu Yuanzhang came here on purpose once when he went out on a tour, and now the scale of this temple is much larger than before, and the endless stream of pilgrims makes the incense inside become exuberant. Zhu Yuanzhang looked at the kneeling worshippers and asked the abbot if he wanted to kneel down too? If this question is not answered well, it will cause the entire temple to suffer. Just when everyone was worried, the abbot replied to Zhu Yuanzhang with a smile: "See in the Buddha do not worship the past Buddha." This sentence made Zhu Yuanzhang very happy to hear this, so he ordered an immediate reward, and the incense of this temple has been more exuberant since then. The abbot used his wit to save the lives of the whole temple, which made people admire.
