Anyang Cao Cao Gaoling Archaeological and Historical Research New Achievements Academic Seminar was held

On December 28th, the Academic Seminar on New Achievements in Archaeological and Historical Research of Cao Cao Gaoling in Anyang City was held, and experts and scholars from all over the country gathered in the ancient capital of Anyang to further discuss and study the historical value, cultural value, aesthetic value, scientific and technological value, era value and other related contents contained in Cao Cao Gaoling since its discovery and archaeological confirmation. The conference was conducted in the form of "online + offline", and 12 experts and scholars discussed the new achievements of archaeology and historical research in Cao Cao Gaoling.
In 2009, Cao Cao Gaoling was archaeologically confirmed in Xigaoxiao Village, Anfeng Township, Yindu District, Anyang City, and its discovery and excavation set an accurate chronological scale for the study of Han and Wei archaeology, providing valuable physical materials for the study of the Han and Wei emperor mausoleum system and the history of Han and Wei, and has an extremely important position in Chinese archaeology. It is not only Anyang, Henan, but also the precious wealth of the Chinese nation and even the world. In order to meet social expectations, in recent years, with the strong support of the national and provincial cultural relics departments and experts and scholars, the city has fully implemented the Cao Cao Gaoling body protection display and garden landscape improvement project, and has made positive progress. Among them, the Anyang Cao Cao Gaoling Site Museum will be officially completed and opened in the first half of next year.
In order to further give play to the advantages of the expert team, guide the city to build and manage the Cao Cao Gaoling Site Museum well, achieve standardized and professional operation, and continuously excavate and explain the important value and significance of Cao Cao Gaoling, after the study of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, it was decided to hire Sun Yingmin, former deputy director of the Henan Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau and president of the Henan Provincial Cultural Relics and Archaeology Association, as the chief consultant of the Cao Cao Gaoling Site Museum. As the former leader of the Henan Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics and a famous archaeologist, President Sun Yingmin has always been concerned about and concerned about the development of cultural relics and archaeology in our city, especially in the debate on the authenticity of Cao Cao's Gaoling Tombs, archaeological excavations, national security declarations, planning and review, project construction and other work, and has made extremely important contributions to the protection and utilization of Cao Cao's Gaoling tombs and the construction of the site museum.
The convening of this seminar will surely create a new situation in the archaeological research and protection and utilization of Cao Cao's Gaoling Tombs.
