In the end, the United States had to choose to withdraw its troops because the losses on the battlefield in Vietnam were too large.
But the war lasted too long, and the boys who could go to the battlefield were generally not very old, it was the age of the flesh and blood, and they had endured war for many years, so these young men and local girls would inevitably have feelings and even live together directly. But when the U.S. troops withdrew, the Vietnamese girls had to stay in the area. Therefore, as soon as the U.S. military left, there were many women in Vietnam who led the mixed-race children to survive alone.
In the beginning, these women were discriminated against for a clear reason, because they were like traitors to others. But what people did not expect was that it did not take long for Vietnam to switch to the United States, so it seems that their contempt for these women at that time was really a slap in the face. Today, the relationship between Vietnam and the United States can be said to be quite close, and people in this country seem to have forgotten the 14-year war.
