Wang Dongxing is a veteran figure of the Communist Party of China. Wang Dongxing was born in 1916 in Yiyang County, Shangrao, Jiangxi Province. His family conditions were very poor, at the lowest level of society, and he was exploited by the government and landlords for many years. When Wang Dongxing was a teenager, faced with such a situation, he began to pursue the truth of the revolution and try to change the status quo of the family.
During the agrarian revolution, Wang Dongxing actively participated in the peasant movement led by Fang Zhimin and was the leader of the Young Pioneers. In 1931, at the age of 15, Wang Dongxing joined the Communist Youth League. After joining the Communist Youth League, he performed very well, becoming a member of the Communist Party in 1932 and joining the Red Tenth Army founded by Fang Zhimin.
In 1933, Wang Dongxing was transferred to the central revolutionary base area with the Red Tenth Army, and also participated in the anti-"encirclement and suppression" operations and the arduous Long March.
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Wang Dongxing was in charge of the medical rescue work of the military and the people, and he worked conscientiously and brilliantly, and was also praised by the leaders at his superiors.
In 1947, Wang Dongxing was transferred to the chairman's side as a guard, every special task, he can complete excellently, never made a mistake, got the weight of the superior leader, and witnessed many thrilling historical turns.
In 1955, Wang Dongxing was awarded the rank of major general. In his later years, Wang Dongxing was at home for a long time, and he rarely attended the activities, but he was still concerned about the construction of socialist modernization in our country.
In 2015, Wang Dongxing died of illness in Beijing at the age of 100.
Wang Dongxing's wife is Yao Xiang'e, who worked as a military doctor in Yan'an during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and after marrying Wang Dongxing, the couple was very affectionate, and several of their children also achieved outstanding achievements in their respective fields of work.
Under the influence of Wang Dongxing, his two sons, Wang Chunping and Wang Zhenkai, both became soldiers. The eldest son, Wang Chunping, graduated from the People's Liberation Army University and later worked as a telegraph operator in the North Sea Fleet. After the 1970s, Wang Chunping returned to work at the Beijing Telegraph Building until his retirement.
The second son, Wang Zhenkai, was a major general who graduated from Chinese University. After graduation, he entered the army and worked in the western suburbs of the People's Liberation Army Training Ground, the Armored Corps Academy and the Academy of Military Sciences. Later, Wang Zhenkai served as the director of the Central Guard Bureau, with the rank of major general.
Wang Dongxing's eldest daughter is his life secretary, and he also has twin daughters, namely Wang Dayan and Wang Xiaoyan. Wang Xiaoyan's husband is Kang Yongnian, who also joined the army as a teenager. After the formation of the Armed Police Force, Kang Yongnian served as the deputy head of the Logistics Department of the Armed Police, and was a colonel of the Armed Police.
