According to the news of Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone, Maojing Optoelectronics is the world's largest supplier of VR optical lenses. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yujing Optoelectronics, Maojing Optoelectronics has been deeply engaged in the field of VR optical lenses for many years, supplying a number of industry giants. Chen Zhiming, deputy general manager of Yujing Optoelectronics, said that the future production of the Maojing Optoelectronics VR optical lens project is also an important measure for the company to seize the opportunity of "meta-universe" and accelerate the layout of the VR field.

The total investment of Maojing Optoelectronics VR optical lens project started this time is 2 billion yuan, with a construction area of 126,000 square meters, mainly building standardized factories and supporting facilities. The project will take precision mold manufacturing to improve product accuracy through automated production. The project will be used for VR lens research and development, production, to provide key component support for the world's top 100 digital technology enterprises, and the output value is expected to reach more than 2 billion yuan.
