Han Liancheng is a native of Ningxia, born in a poor herdsman family, and later followed his parents to the county to earn a living, until the age of 12 did not go to school, he studied while working to subsidize the family, in 1925, 17-year-old Han Liancheng joined the Northwest Army, and later was admitted to the Northwest Army's 7th Division Officer Teaching Corps.
Later, this teaching team was reorganized into the 4th Army of the Nationalist Coalition Army, the commander was Ma Hongkui, the political director was Liu Zhidan, and Han Liancheng, who was a platoon leader in the army at that time, often met Liu Zhidan and was greatly influenced by it, and then secretly joined the Communist Party under the introduction of Liu Zhidan.
Unfortunately, with the later death of Liu Zhidan, Han Liancheng's joining the party was not confirmed, and han Liancheng became more and more powerful in the Kuomintang army, and he became the commander of the independent regiment of the 64th Division under Ma Hongkui, and his rescue of Chiang Kai-shek occurred when he was the head of the independent regiment.
It was the beginning of 1930, the Outbreak of the Central Plains War, Chiang Kai-shek and Feng Yuxiang's main forces fought in eastern Henan, Chiang Kai-shek's headquarters was at Guide Station, which is today's Shangqiu, when Han Liancheng's independent regiment was ordered to garrison Guide, chiang Kai-shek's headquarters was reconnaissance by Feng Yuxiang.
So Feng Yuxiang's general Zheng Dazhang led a cavalry to sneak into Guide, and this sneak attack was very successful, Chiang Kai-shek and others were surrounded by a train without a locomotive, and Chiang Kai-shek's men had just opened a distress call before they finished speaking, and the telephone line was cut off.
Fortunately, Han Lian became a man of quick wit, guessing that the headquarters was attacked by someone, so he led a regiment of people to rescue chiang kai-shek who was surrounded, and Chiang Kai-shek, who escaped from death, was very happy, and immediately issued a warrant, specially approving Han Lian to become a graduate of the third phase of Huangpu and be included in the student register.
Han Liancheng did not go to Huangpu for a day, but instantly became a Huangpu student, and Chiang Kai-shek's warrants were known internally, and then all the generals from Huangpu saw Han Liancheng and thought that he was a Huangpu classmate, and Han Liancheng instantly changed from a miscellaneous army to a general of Chiang Kai-shek's concubines.
In the spring of 1935, Han Liancheng was awarded the rank of major general, and after the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, Han Liancheng was invited by Bai Chongxi to serve in the Gui clan, and was promoted to the commander of the 170th Division for his meritorious service in commanding the Guinan Campaign.
In the spring of 1940, Chiang Kai-shek went to Liuzhou to attend a meeting, learned that Han Liancheng had become Bai Chongxi's division commander, and happily approved him 50,000 yuan of funds, but where did Chiang Kai-shek know that Han Liancheng was an underground party member, and in June 1942, Han Liancheng finally got in touch with our party and continued to carry out the hidden mission.
After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Chiang Kai-shek appointed Han Lian as the commander of the 46th Army in order to fight the civil war, and in the Battle of Laiwu he made many contributions to the victory of our army.
Han Liancheng was then appointed deputy commander of the Eighth Appeasement District and also served as a senior staff officer of Chiang Kai-shek, and in early 1949, Han Liancheng was appointed commander of the Gansu Security, when Kuomintang agents had already targeted him, and his identity was revealed the day after he left Nanjing.
It turned out that the secret agent had deciphered the telegram he had sent, and thanks to the help of the peace general Zhang Zhizhong, Han Liancheng successfully escaped from the secret agent's arrest, and when Chiang Kai-shek learned that Han Liancheng had fled, he was furious, threw the glass in his hand, scolded He Yingqin, and blamed He Yingqin for "wearing small shoes" for Han Liancheng.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Han Liancheng served as the first deputy commander of the Lanzhou Military Region and other positions, re-entered the party in 1950, and in 1955, Han Liancheng was awarded the rank of lieutenant general, and the exposure of Han Liancheng's true identity shocked most people in the Kuomintang, he was the underground party member who hid around Chiang Kai-shek for the longest time.
