In August 1944, he was appointed as the commander of the 4th Aircraft Brigade of the Second Air Corps of the Kwantung Army, with the rank of Minor. The flying brigade led by Hayashi Yaichiro has a total of more than 300 people, most of whom are technical personnel of the Japanese Air Force.

War makes a man lose his mind, and the dream of militarism is shattered, and only then does he regain his original humanity. Looking at the subordinates around them, there were many soldiers who were just ordinary peasants before the war.
Hayashi Yaichiro knew that it would be useful for Zeng Kelin to leave them behind. I just didn't expect that they would build the Northeast Aviation School and make themselves instructors. Flying an airplane is a big deal, negligence is not allowed, and the instructors of the Japanese army are very strict with the cadets, and sometimes they will beat and scold the cadets. But they were captives! Can he scold the trainees?

One day in October 1945, Lin Yaichiro and his colleagues were received by Wu Xiuquan and others in Shenyang. They once again reiterated to Hayashi Yaichiro the views of our party and our army on Japan's war of aggression against China. Hayashi was worried that Chinese would use them and shoot them all together, so he didn't dare to agree right away.
So he said: Japan has been defeated, and I have lost my command. When I go back and ask everyone, if more than half of the people agree, this can be done, otherwise there is nothing I can do.

In the spring of 1946, the traitor Sun Gengxiao colluded with the Japanese Tengtian to launch a riot, and after a Japanese pilot was arrested, the main messenger was Hayashi Yaichiro.

In 1999, Lin Baoyi died of illness in Japan at the age of 88, and the "Hangqihui" held a grand memorial meeting for him.
