A few days ago, we learned from the official of Xiaoma Zhixing that Xiaoma Zhixing announced that it has reached a strategic cooperation with FAW (Nanjing) Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China FAW, to promote the application of L4 level autonomous driving technology.
The two parties will deeply integrate the resources and advantages in the fields of L4 autonomous driving technology research and development, vehicle research and development and manufacturing, accelerate the large-scale application of autonomous driving services (Robotaxi), and jointly create a safe, reliable, efficient and convenient way of travel.
Xiaoma Zhixing and FAW (Nanjing) will jointly formulate a front-loading mass production plan for the autonomous driving sensor hardware system, jointly develop a model suitable for Robotaxi and carry out front-loading mass production, so as to realize the large-scale application of the low-cost autonomous driving platform. The two sides also plan to jointly establish an autonomous driving demonstration operation fleet, carry out commercial operation cooperation in Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Changchun, Nanjing and other places, and jointly realize the large-scale operation of Robotaxi.
