Previously, Mercedes-Benz had the title of "King of Recall" due to frequent recalls this year, and this title may usher in a new owner. It is reported that the production time of the recalled vehicles is between December 3, 2020 and July 21, 2021, and these vehicles are equipped with a smart lighting module, but the module may have received an incomplete software update. This may cause one or both headlights to stop working. A total of 36,929 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L models were involved in the recall. The technical safety department of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles first realized the problem on November 17 this year and decided to carry out a safety recall on December 2. Dealers and relevant owners will be notified by January 28, 2022.
