Don't be the second year of Dong

Don Gaushi

One

Thousands of miles of yellow clouds and daylight,

The north wind blows wild geese and snow.

Don't worry about the road ahead, don't know yourself,

Who in the world does not know the king?

Second

Six fluttering and self-pity,

He has been away from Jingluo for more than ten years.

The husband should be poor and unsatisfied,

There is no wine money for today's encounter.

After writing "who in the world does not know the king", Gao Shi wrote a poem again, and it was a big surprise after reading it

Gao Shi was the most typical Border Plug poet of the Sheng Tang Dynasty, and was called "Gao Cen" together with Cen Shan, and later generations called him "Four Poets of Border Plug" together with Cen Shan, Wang Changling, and Wang Zhizhuo. Gao Shi was born a man of letters, but devoted himself to the military. He traveled for many years on the frontier of the Tang Dynasty, transported soldiers, served as an aide, and assisted Ge Shuhan in garrisoning Tongguan before the Anshi Rebellion. After the Anshi Rebellion, he was also awarded the title of Envoy of Huainan Jiedushi, leading the army to cut down the Yong King Li Xuan, the Rebel Army of Ping'an Shi, and the Siege of Suiyang, with outstanding military merits. It can be described as a successful example of the literati congrong.

Years of border life and horse career have made Gao Shi's temperament and poetic style magnificent, and people at the time called his temperament "shuoqi and strong heart", and his poems are mostly straight and lyrical, not limited to the text subsections, the pen is strong, the momentum is unrestrained, and the arrogance is bold. Extremely strong and vigorous, everywhere is full of the vigorous spirit of the times of the Tang Dynasty.

This group of "Second Songs of Don Dong Da" is Gao Shi's representative work, from which we can see Gao Shi's heroic and open-mindedness, even if it is a farewell, it is not as poignant and sad as the ordinary farewell poem, but the passionate generosity and encouragement of "Mo Worries about the Road Ahead and Ignorance of Himself".

After writing "who in the world does not know the king", Gao Shi wrote a poem again, and it was a big surprise after reading it

These two poems were written by Lang You Suiyang when he met the degraded pianist Dong Tinglan (Dong Da), and the first of them is a masterpiece of ancient times, which almost everyone can recite. "Thousands of miles of yellow clouds in the daylight, the north wind blows geese and snow", the opening chapter first depicts the scenery of the border plug: the sunset yellow clouds, the wind and snow break the geese, the wild sky, the wanderer He Zhi! The scene depicted is a sad scene, but the momentum is magnificent and majestic, with a tragic color.

The last two sentences are followed by "Don't worry about the road ahead and don't know yourself, who in the world doesn't know the king", sweeping away the depressed atmosphere, with a loud and powerful tone to inspire friends to shake their spirits and go far with a strong heart! This farewell sentence is bold and simple, so it has become a famous sentence that everyone has recited for thousands of years.

The previous song also heroically and open-mindedly bid farewell to friends, and the latter song was a bit embarrassing. "Liu Fei fluttered and self-pity, leaving Jingluo for more than ten years", the poet used the bird as a metaphor for himself, fluttering, self-harming and self-pitying, leaving Jingluo for more than ten years.

Wandering outside for many years, mixed unsatisfactory, even sending off friends are "husbands poor should not be enough, today's meeting without wine money." At that time, Gao Shi was still in a poor and depressed situation without wine money, and he should have invited Dong Da to drink for him, but now he could not pay for wine. You can only "borrow Dong Da's wine and pour a block in your heart."

The previous poem encouraged Dong Da to "Mo Worries about the road ahead without knowing himself, and no one in the world knows the King", but the latter poem let Dong Da pay for wine, which really surprised people, and had to wonder whether Gao Shi was perfunctory Dong Da with "Mo Worries about the road ahead ignorant of himself".

After writing "who in the world does not know the king", Gao Shi wrote a poem again, and it was a big surprise after reading it

Of course, this embarrassing verse is not negative and low, but has the confidence and hope for the future that "the husband is poor and poor" and hope for the future. The eldest husband is poor and lowly, how can he be willing! He is becoming more and more ambitious, and he will teach "who in the world does not know the king"!

These two poems of Gao Shi are not very literary to read, very simple, even very rough, but the magic is wonderful in their thickness, both coarse and proud, both majestic and happy. Straight to the chest, with its own generous and tragic bones, although there is little literary talent, but there is a big atmosphere!
