But what about the Double Eagle Era? How many decent sects are there on the rivers and lakes?
As the leaders of the jianghu, they actually represent the five sects. But apart from that, where else in the jianghu is there a sect of equal size and strength? At that time, Shaolin was affected by the Fire Foreman Incident and had long since withdrawn from the front line. Huang Yaoshi mentioned Shaolin's martial arts with a look of disdain. The Wudang, Emei, Kunlun and other factions had not yet been created at that time. The influence of the Ming Sect at that time was not so great. As I said before, if you throw them into the Age of Heaven, they may not even be as good as the five scattered people, and if they can show their faces at the lion slaughtering conference, they will be successful.
It was the jianghu in the era of archery that was relatively silent, and not many people came out to make waves, or did something earth-shattering, so the eighteen-year bet made by the Seven Monsters of Jiangnan and Qiu Chuji became the headline event in the jianghu at that time. If it is the Yitian era, this matter cannot even be searched.
Therefore, the status of the Seven Monsters of Jiangnan is high, thanks to the scale of the rivers and lakes. The simplest way to say it, write out the names of the double eagles and the martial arts figures with names in the heavens, and you look at the lists on both sides, how big the difference in number is.
The larger the denominator, the less conspicuous the numerator. And the seven monsters of Jiangnan accounted for seven people at once, plus the denominator was not very large, so their status was of course conspicuous.
