In November, the country accepted 13.754 million reports of illegal and negative information on the Internet

In November 2021, online reporting departments at all levels across the country accepted 13.754 million reports, an increase of 5.3% month-on-month and 14.5% year-on-year. Among them, the Central Cyberspace Administration (State Internet Information Office) illegal and bad information reporting center accepted 313,000 reports, an increase of 3.3% month-on-month and 86.1% year-on-year; the whistle-blowing departments of the cyberspace administrations in various localities accepted 1.048 million reports, down 0.8% month-on-month and 7.6% year-on-year; and the main websites across the country accepted 12.393 million reports, an increase of 5.9% month-on-month and 15.7% year-on-year.

Among the reports accepted by major websites across the country, major commercial websites such as Weibo, Baidu, Alibaba, Kuaishou, Tencent, Today's Toutiao, Sina.com, Zhihu, Douban, Sogou, Youku, Pinduoduo, JD.com, and Bilibili Animation accounted for 70.2% of the total, reaching 8.705 million.
