Nordic literature of the 20th century

Nordic literature of the 20th century

Under the influence of the October Revolution, proletarian literature flourished in the Nordic countries of Ma Jiajun. Nixor of Denmark founded the Communist Party and wrote the Belle the Conqueror trilogy, reflecting the proletarian movement. Killick's (1898-1962) Fishermen (1928), Japanese Workers (1996), and New Era (1939) are representative works of socialist realism. The Swedish Cork (1882-1949) novel The Worker (1912) was the first work to write about the worker. In the 1930s, "wage-labourer" literature emerged, and the leading figure Lo Johansson (1901-1901) worked as a worker, including "Land, Good Night" (1933) and "The Land Proletarian" (1941). Norway became independent from its alliance with Sweden in 1905, and the literary proletarian dramatist Greg (1902-1949) continued the tradition of Bjørnsson's action dramas, writing about the Chinese Revolution in Barabas (1929) and the play "Failure" (1937) showing his experience in the Spanish Civil War. The novelist Falkberg (1879-1967) also wrote very well about the life of the miners' struggle. In Iceland in the 1930s, the critic Amplesson (1961-1973) led the magazine Red Pen, which promoted socialism and developed new literature. Laksnes (1902-1902-) 'The Independent People' (1939) shows the struggles of working people. The "Kira Society" in Finland in the 1930s announced the publication of revolutionary periodicals under the guidance of Marxism. Han Pei (1905-1955) wrote a large number of short stories about the workers' movement in the 1920s and 1930s. Pecanin's (1902-1955) in the Shadow of the Factory (1932) and The Spring of the People (1935) are also excellent works that reflect the lives of workers.

Nordic literature of the 20th century

Nordic realism is also outstanding: Denmark's Jensen (1873-1959) six-part novel "The Long Journey" (1908-1922), which deals with human development, is a representative work of Danish neorealism. Norwegian "vernacular literature" depicts the destruction of the countryside by capitalism. The "psychological literature" school of women writer Winsett (1882-1949) wrote about the struggles of the L4th century, and the writer won the Nobel Prize in Literature for the historical novel "The Daughter of Kristin Lavrand" (1922). Berryman of Sweden (1883-1931) wrote the Balzac-esque novel The Makurel Family of Wadrköping (1919). The five-volume autobiographical novel Of Gunnarson (1889-1975) by Icelandic Gunnarsson (1923-1928) is a wonderful reflection of Icelandic social life.
