On December 16, the 3rd International Automobile Intelligent Shared Mobility Conference 2021 was held in Huadu, Guangzhou. With the theme of "Embracing the New Ecology of Smart Cities and Building a New Pattern of Future Mobility", the conference adopts a combination of online and offline methods, inviting experts, scholars and enterprise executives from relevant fields such as automobiles, transportation, information and communications, urban planning, energy and other fields at home and abroad to gather consensus and lead the development direction of industrial technology development through various forms such as thematic forums, international forums, roundtable dialogues, technology displays and experiences around topics such as smart travel strategies, paths and best practices based on intelligent connected vehicles.

Li Jun, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said that intelligent shared travel requires top-level design, and the direction of future travel upgrades and urban governance upgrades will be based on the deep integration of smart cities, intelligent transportation and intelligent vehicles.
At the meeting, the Huadu District Government released the Action Plan for the Hub Autonomous Driving Innovation Pilot Zone in the Huadu Greater Bay Area of Guangzhou. The plan points out that Huadu relies on the solid basic conditions of the automobile industry, the unique location of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the advantages of air-rail dual hub transportation, combines the application of intelligent networked vehicle technology with the air-rail dual hub traffic scenario, and is committed to creating a hub-type automatic driving demonstration benchmark, and it is expected that in 2023, more than 150 kilometers of autonomous driving demonstration roads will be opened; by 2025, the scope of automatic driving demonstration will cover the whole area of Huadu.
According to the "Action Plan", by 2023, in the air-rail dual hub radiation area, more than 43 kilometers of roads with digital infrastructure will be realized, and more than 1,000 automatic driving applications of buses, taxis, logistics vehicles, functional vehicles and other types of vehicles will be realized, and the demonstration scenarios will reach more than 20 kinds; in 2025, the scale of autonomous driving demonstration vehicles and the mileage of intelligent road construction will be in the forefront of the country, and a smart travel system will be initially established to serve the people of Guangzhou and global businessmen, makers, passengers, and customers. The beautiful travel vision of hub-type people such as residents will promote the integration and development of the regional intelligent and connected automobile industry and smart city.
At the signing ceremony, the People's Government of Huadu District signed agreements with Dongfeng Nissan New Energy Vehicle Sales Co., Ltd., Magneti Marelli Automotive Electronics (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., Heduo Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Guoqi Intelligent Control (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., and Society of Automotive Engineers of China, and other leading enterprises and institutions to promote the integration and development of Huadu intelligent networked vehicles with intelligent transportation and smart cities, promote the ecological construction of intelligent shared travel, and promote the dual transformation of the automobile industry and smart city.
It is reported that Dongfeng Nissan New Energy Vehicle Sales Co., Ltd. will carry out new energy vehicle sales, new energy vehicle replacement facilities sales, new energy vehicle electrical accessories sales, electric vehicle charging infrastructure operations and other businesses in Huadu, Guangzhou; Heduo Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. aims to realize the industrialization of automatic driving technology, based on the advantages of Guangzhou Huadu's transportation and automobile industry, it intends to set up a headquarters and continue to make efforts to create a better automatic driving system; Magneti Marelli Automotive Electronics (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. will set up a Magneti Marelli Automotive Electronics R&D headquarters in Huadu to increase product research and development investment and technological upgrading; Guoqi Intelligent Control (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. and Huadu will cooperate in intelligent vehicles, intelligent transportation, and vehicle cloud computing The Society of Automotive Engineers of China has agreed to settle the International Automotive Intelligent Sharing Conference in Huadu from 2021 to 2025, further strengthen strategic cooperation, and build Huadu into a gathering place for high-end resources related to international intelligent shared travel.
In order to conform to the future development trend of economic and social intelligence, low carbon, high efficiency and service, under the guidance of the National Sharing Economy Standardization Technical Committee, the Society of Automotive Engineers of China has established the "Shared Travel Working Group of the National Sharing Economy Standardization Technical Committee (WG1)" after preliminary preparations, aiming to study the establishment of an intelligent shared travel standard system, organize the revision of standards in the field of intelligent shared travel, and escort the integrated development of autonomous driving and shared travel.
On the same day, the Jingdong Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Huadu) Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Research Institute was unveiled. Under the trend of accelerating the flow of resource elements such as human flow, logistics, capital flow and information flow in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, JD Group has established the Jingdong Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Huadu) Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Research Institute rooted in Huadu, Guangzhou, which will carry out in-depth research around the field of artificial intelligence and digital economy in the future, promote technology applications, and help the new development of the digital economy in the Greater Bay Area.
