As an electric vehicle manufacturer, Arrival aims to launch a vehicle specifically for online ride-hailing services. Recently, the first prototype it built has been announced, and Arrival plans to start testing this prototype in 2022. Arrival's prototype was built using the company's existing Van and Bus project technology, so the final molding took only 6 months. In addition, engineers work with Uber drivers to consult with them to customize the vehicle to suit needs.
Arrival new ride-hailing car
From the outside, the car uses huge windows and a wide windshield, hoping to provide better visibility to the driver, and the shorter front overhang and tilting front hood can also provide the driver with a good front view. The car also features a large glass sunroof, which allows rear passengers to enjoy the wide view brought by the large sunroof. From the pictures, the car is highly raised, so for most people, the space inside the car should not be an issue.
As a model specially built for ride-hailing cars, the rear of the car has more space than the regular model, and Arrival claims that the car provides twice the legroom of the average car of the same length. In the front row, the car provides the driver with a simple double-spoke steering wheel, and like the Tesla, the car is not equipped with a traditional instrument panel, so the central infotainment system is responsible for displaying all the vehicle's driving information.
