On the morning of the 17th, the symposium on "Luoyang Archaeology and Ancient Civilization" by Cai Yunzhang, a famous archaeologist in Luoyang, was held in the hall of Luoyang Radio and Television Station. The reporter learned that this book is Cai Yunzhang's third collection of papers, published by Sanqin Publishing House, with a total of more than 736,000 words and 67 of his papers. The book is divided into five chapters, namely "Archaeology and Ancient Civilization of the Capital City", "Heluo Culture and Ancient Civilization", "Ancient History Exploration and Ancient Civilization", "Oracle Bone Gold and Ancient Civilization", "Su Qin and the Warring States Zonghengjia".
Cai Yunzhang introduced that "Luoyang Archaeology and Ancient Civilization" is his 4 collections of papers (the fourth book will be published in the near future), the most closely related to Luoyang, which can be described as the essence of his 57 years of cultural relics and archaeology work experience. Among them, the first and second chapters are the "highlights" of the whole book.
He said that Luoyang is the famous ancient capital of the Thirteen Dynasties, and the archaeology of the capital city has naturally become the most important research topic for Luoyang's archaeological work. Since the Han Dynasty, historians have confused the Western Zhou Chengzhou City with the Eastern Zhou Wangcheng, resulting in the prevalence of the "Five Capitals Through Luo" saying. In the first chapter of the book, "Capital City Archaeology and Ancient Civilization", a major breakthrough in the archaeology of luoyang capital city is shown - "Liu Du Hui Luo".
Heluo culture is the mainstream and essence of traditional Chinese culture, since the 1980s, there has been a boom in the study of regional culture across the country, "We also closely follow the new trend of the rise of local studies, and quickly raise the study of Helu culture to a new stage of 'Heluoology' research." Cai Yunzhang said that Heluo science is a comprehensive discipline with Luoyang history and culture, modern urban construction and future development strategy as the main research objects, and the second chapter of this book, "Heluo Culture and Ancient Civilization", not only shows the research results of Heluo culture, but also plays a positive role in promoting the protection and inheritance of Heluo culture.
