According to the official website, when the lithium iron phosphate battery within the scope of this recall is used to modify the car for a small number of users, the components on the battery protection board may be damaged by the controller capacitance of the user modified car, resulting in overheating of the component, and in extreme cases, there may be a safety risk of overheating and fire.
Beijing Xingda Zhilian Technology Co., Ltd. will prompt consumers through the App method to put the battery into the charging cabinet for aerial software upgrades, increase the protection process, and avoid capacitor damage components to eliminate safety hazards.
