Sima Qingyi
In June of the 10th year of Yuan He (815 AD), the Tang Dynasty Fanzhen forces sent assassins to stab the chancellor Wu Yuanheng to death in the streets of Chang'an, stabbing Pei Du in yushizhong, and the government and the opposition were in a big uproar, and the Fanzhen forces further proposed to depose Pei Du, with the heart of the "opposite side" of An Fan Town. Bai Juyi's on-the-list advocates strict arrest of murderers, which is suspected of "overstepping his duties"; moreover, Bai Juyi Pingsu wrote many satirical poems, offending the powerful people in the DPRK, so he was demoted to Sima of Jiangzhou.
Sima was an assistant to the Assassin Shi, and during the Middle and Tang Dynasties, he specialized in the placement of "criminal" officials, which belonged to disguised distribution. This incident had a great impact on Bai Juyi, and it was a turning point in his ideological changes, and since then, his early struggle has gradually worn out, and his negative emotions have increased day by day.
