The first book I read this year was Yu Hua's new work "Wencheng", which I bought when I came out and read it a week later. "Alive" is obviously an excellent book, and its excellent degree ranks second in the Douban Books Top250.
And "Wencheng", as Yu Hua's latest work, will give people a kind of "just like this?" after reading it. "The feeling, the feeling that Yu Hua did not play to full strength, the feeling that "Wencheng" is written by Yu Hua with half of his strength. It may also be that our expectations of Yu Hua are too high, obviously we are looking forward to "Alive 2.0", and as a result, you wrote a copy of "Alive 0.5", is it suspected of being lazy?
"Wencheng" is generally easy to read and easy to read, and there are two angles to expound (this part is quite interesting), but this story is too stable, the theme is not so sharp, just look at the rating.
After watching "Alive", I will still recommend you to watch "Wencheng". Master's work, see one less book (True Incense Warning). Just like Mo Yan's "Late Ripening Man" published last year, buy it.
