You're not busy, you just don't love to read

You're not busy, you just don't love to read

01

At about ten o'clock last night, a friend sent me a photo: in the crowded subway, the passengers around me looked exhausted, each looking down at their mobile phones. Only one young man was particularly conspicuous in the crowd. He was pulling on the armrest in one hand and a book in the other, watching with relish. The hustle and bustle around him didn't seem to affect his concentration on reading.

Friends said that he was very handsome in himself, but he looked even more handsome when he read the book.

After seeing the photos, I was particularly touched. Many people say that they don't have time to read, but there are still people who can read books in the middle of a car.

A lot of people always like to say such a sentence, I actually want to read, but too busy to have time. Their reasoning is roughly as follows:

I was so busy at work that I occasionally had to stay up late and work overtime, and I didn't even have enough time to rest, where did I get the time to read a book.

I recently had a meeting to summarize the training, and I needed to prepare a lot of materials and data, so I didn't have the energy to read the book.

After work, I have to go home to cook and take care of the children, not because I don't want to read, but because I can't find time.

But the strange thing is that these seemingly busy people, no matter how tight the time, always have the opportunity to send WeChat and brush Weibo. In fact, people who want to read books, no matter how busy, can find time. And people who don't want to read books, even if they are very idle, will not take the initiative to pick up the books at hand.

I often have friends ask me to help recommend some good books. After each recommendation, friends are grateful. But after a long time, when I ask them what they think of reading which books, they will always answer me that I have been too busy lately to read, and I will communicate with you next time.

But the so-called next time, in fact, is the meaning of the distant future.

Some people are only on a whim about reading. They may realize the importance of reading for various reasons, but when that fresh energy passes, they will completely forget the book.

Later, when someone asks me to recommend a book list, I will first ask them, do you have time to read it?

Usually the answers are not positive enough, or even think about it for a long time, only to find that I have no time to read books.

So, you see, only when you really love to read and can enjoy the fun that reading brings you, you will find a way to find time to read. If you don't like to read, you will always consciously or unconsciously find various reasons for yourself to shirk.

Books are plentiful, and so far I've read a limited number of books. Fortunately, I am a person who loves to read, no matter how busy I am, I will ensure that I have two hours of reading time every day.

Of course, I am not really idle, I also have my own work and life, and even busy, eating and sleeping time are crowded. Maybe you will wonder, where does the time to read come from?

Usually, I use all bits and pieces to read a book, such as getting up at 5 o'clock in the morning, getting up early to read a book for 1 hour; such as commuting to work, waiting in line, waking up before going to bed... In short, as long as I want to read, I can always glance at the book.

Many people always say that there is no time to read, time is actually the fairest, it never distinguishes between rich and poor, everyone has 24 hours a day, no more and no less. Usually, you allocate time to what you think is important, what makes you happy, and what is worth doing, and less time is left for things that you think are of little significance. The meaning of reading is self-evident.

I love to read, not because of how inspirational and worth showing off reading is, but because I can truly feel happy, fulfilled and satisfied from reading. Books, like my mentors and friends, will always silently guide me in the right direction; books are also my spiritual resting place, where I can find poetry and distant places.

What is the use of reading? Probably many people who do not like to read books will have such questions.

Reading may not directly bring you wealth and status, nor will it allow you to get visible benefits immediately, but it can bring you a positive and optimistic attitude, can bring you a strong heart, and can make you have a better vision and pattern.

I have also been answered this question, and I think it is quite in line with my heart: I can't say what is good about reading, but I feel that every time I encounter a low, the books I have read are like seeds that have built a garden in my heart. The dark troughs are full of brilliant roses, and even the most difficult difficulties can reveal a glimmer of light.

Many people think that reading is a student affair and has nothing to do with adults. But have you forgotten that people have to live to learn from old age. Reading books not only gives us the opportunity to communicate with the author, but it also constantly corrects our prejudices and cognitions, allowing us to see the world more and more rationally, wisely, and maturely.

Still others feel that they are missing out on the best time to study. In fact, anything that makes people better, as long as you start, is not too late. We don't read to hurry, nor to compete with anyone to win or lose, we only read to achieve a better self in reading. As long as you can continue to improve and grow in reading every day, this is a very meaningful thing.

Reading is something that everyone should stick to in their whole life, and the sooner you recognize the benefits of reading, the more beneficial it will be for your future life.

Don't say that you don't have time to read, if you are willing to sacrifice a little time for boredom, gossip, chat and brag, I think you will definitely meet a more colorful, more interesting and full life in the reading time.
