Sample condition

A total of 20 samples were sampled by the staff entrusted by the Nanjing Consumers Association as ordinary consumers from offline physical stores (Suning Tesco, Jingdong Five Star), e-commerce platforms (Jingdong Mall, Taobao, Tmall Mall) and other channels.

20 samples are declared healthy no fumes or less fumes, 12 samples contain similar words such as easy to clean in promotional information, and many products are explicitly fried evenly and have high thermal efficiency.

Test items and reference basis

This comparative test combines the sample publicity information to test and compare some of the performance and explicit functions of the sample. The evaluation items mainly include: sticky pan, stir-fry uniformity, fume control effect, easy to clean, thermal efficiency, standby power, shell temperature rise, electromagnetic radiation, and functional inspection.

Since the intelligent blender belongs to the emerging household appliances, there is no special performance testing national standard in China, in order to make the comparative test more scientific and objective, this evaluation as far as possible with reference to similar product standards in the test method. Specifically: QB/T4099-2010 "Rice Cooker and Similar Appliances", T/CAS332-2019 "Technical Specification for Intelligent Level Evaluation of Household Cooking Machine", T/CAS332-2019 "Technical Specification for Intelligent Level Evaluation of Household Cooking Machine", Guangdong Consumers Association "Intelligent Cooking Machine Performance Evaluation Scheme", GB4706.1-2005 "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances Part 1: General Requirements", GB21456-2014 Energy efficiency limit value and energy efficiency level of household induction cookers", GB/T35758-2017 "Household appliances standby power measurement method", QB/T4986-2016 "Safety evaluation and measurement method of electromagnetic field of household and similar use electrical appliances", T/CAS332-2019 "Household cooking machine intelligent level evaluation technical specifications".

Cooking is a major pain point in the lives of many urban young people. With the emergence of intelligent cooking products, more kitchen "Xiaobai" has seen hope. Various product advertisements claim that most of these products have a variety of functions of stir-frying, frying, and steaming, and can prompt users step by step how to operate according to the built-in "intelligent guided recipes" to finally complete the food.

So, how practical are smart cooking products? Recently, the Nanjing Consumers Association selected 20 smart blender products sold on the market for comparative testing. The results show that the intelligent blender products have the phenomenon of labeling confusion and exaggerated publicity, such as a variety of products advertising non-stick pans, non-paste pans, easy to clean, but only 5 samples in the actual test can easily and quickly clean the cooking container, and many samples claim to have one-click cooking, intelligent interconnection and other functions, but the actual test can not be achieved or the sense of use is not good.

Brands such as Suber and Jia Neng are not easy to clean or easy to stick to the pan

Consumers buy smart blenders, a large part of the reason is to free hands, so the cleaning performance of the product, including the stickiness of the cooking container, whether the structure of the product is easy to disassemble and clean and other factors have become the more concerned part of consumers. This review comprehensively evaluates the cleaning performance of smart blenders from the aspects of sticky pan and easy-to-disassemble cleanliness.

The stickiness test is to place the pre-treated cooking container in an oven at a temperature of (150±10) ° C, remove it after 1 hour, and quickly open a fresh raw egg and pour it into the bottom of the cooking container, and when the egg whites are basically solidified, remove the eggs with a non-metallic spatula to observe whether the surface of the cooking container adheres to the residue.

The results show that among the 20 test samples, 7 samples of the cooking container did not have residue adhesion after the sticky pot test, and the remaining 13 samples had different degrees of protein adhesion to the bottom of the pot, among which kern home energy, Suber and other large brands also have the phenomenon of easy sticky pan.

After the smart blender finishes cooking, it is necessary to clean the inner tank, stirring stick, pot lid and other parts. The easy-to-disassemble cleanliness test of this comparative test is to put the dishes out to check the situation in the cooking container after the fume control effect test, and remove the cooking parts to simulate the cleaning after normal use, and observe the ease of disassembly and easy cleaning of the product parts during this series of operations.

Through the test, only 5 of the 20 samples were able to clean the cooking parts easily and quickly. There was a paste at the bottom of the cooking vessel with 4 samples, and the stirring rod of 8 samples needed to be disassembled with the help of a tool before the bottom of the pot could be cleaned. Smart blenders with stainless steel blades as a mixing tool are not easy to disassemble and assemble, increasing the difficulty of cleaning.

LONDON FOG, GRACE stir-frying even rate of less than 60%

Stir-frying evenly is the basis for ensuring that the food is delicious, and the ingredients that are evenly stir-fried are not only more uniformly colored, but also easier to taste. This review evaluates the homogeneity of the stir-frying samples by firing the same amount of chunky potatoes of the same size and calculating the final ingredient dyeing rate.

The test found that the stir-frying performance of the 20 samples was significantly different. Eight samples had a stir-fry uniformity of more than 95%, five samples were less than 70 percent, the best Tian Luo Yun Kitchen (K1605) sample had uniform coloring of all potatoes, and the worst LONDON FOG (LKA76) sample had only half of the ingredients fully colored.

Creating a healthy, oil-free, smokeless kitchen is a big selling point for smart blenders. The intelligent blender is to reduce the generation of oil fumes by adjusting the temperature during the cooking process and controlling the temperature in the pot as much as possible below the smoke point of the cooking oil. This review evaluates the quality of the fume control effect by comparing the amount of fumes generated by firing the same dish from 20 samples.

The test results show that a total of 11 samples produced more than 0.5g of fumes, accounting for more than half, and more than one-third of the blenders produced more than 1g of fumes, which is far higher than the T/CAS332-2019 "Household Cooking Machine Intelligent Level Evaluation Technical Specifications" for intelligent cooking in the limit of the amount of fumes generated by smart cooking.

ACA thermal efficiency is only 30% LONDON FOG, H&E standby easy-to-use electricity

Energy-saving effect is a widely concerned problem in the current society, and it is also one of the indicators that consumers are more concerned about. This evaluation mainly assesses the power consumption of the product in the actual working state and the standby state.

Thermal efficiency is to reflect the efficiency of the intelligent blender in the work of the power consumption effectively transferred to the processed ingredients, is one of the energy saving indicators, the higher the thermal efficiency means that the higher the power use rate, but also relatively more power saving. The thermal efficiency evaluation results show that only 9 of the 20 samples have a thermal efficiency greater than 80%, 11 samples have a test value of less than 80%, and the energy efficiency of more than half of the samples is far lower than the energy saving requirements. Among them, the highest thermal efficiency is TOKIT (TLLJP01ACM), which is as high as 94.5%, while the lowest ACA (AAK-K60) has less than one-third of its thermal efficiency.

The smaller the standby power, the more energy-saving, but most consumers are difficult to find the relevant parameters from the manufacturer's promotional information or instructions, so it is easy to ignore the electrical energy consumed by electrical appliances in standby.

Through the test, it was found that only 4 samples had a standby power of less than 2W, and many models exceeded 5W, and the standby power of the sample with wifi function was significantly greater than that of other samples. Taking THE LARGEST TEST DATA LONDON FOG (LKA76) AS AN EXAMPLE, standby consumes nearly 5 kWh of electricity for 1 month, and the power consumption is amazing, and many home appliances with energy efficiency standards must not have a standby power greater than 2W.

Rice is easy to burn hand Semikonic shell temperature control good

The temperature rise of the housing refers to the difference between the surface temperature of the appliance and the ambient temperature. Considering that when using the smart blender, only the surface parts of the electrical appliances such as the pot body, handle, and pot lid are generally touched, and only these parts have been evaluated this time.

The results showed that the temperature appreciation of 16 samples exceeded 60K, and only ACA (AAK-K60), SEMIKRON (GT7H3K), Piece of Cake (GT7H3), and TOKIT (TLLJP01ACM) did not have a significant burning sensation when touching the shell during the heating process. Although the intelligent blender does not need long-term contact with the human body when it is used, it is still very easy to cause burns if it is not protected, and it needs attention.

Electromagnetic radiation evaluation is the sample in the maximum power block work, to be stabilized with the electromagnetic radiation tester to measure the four directions of the fuselage (front and rear left and right) radiation value, take the maximum value as the final result.

After measurement, it was found that the radiation values of different samples varied greatly, and the electromagnetic radiation values of samples using IH electromagnetic heating were significantly higher than those of other samples. However, by changing the distance of the test, the electromagnetic radiation value drops rapidly, and the test value of all samples at a distance of 30 cm is below the limit of the public safety standard.

The non-standard intelligence of recipe management needs to be improved

When the intelligent blender is advertised, most of them claim that one machine is multi-purpose, which can cook a variety of dishes conveniently and intelligently. So, how much is the "smart" degree of the smart blender, and is it as smart as the interface and easy operation advertised by the merchant? This review selected 5 functions related to "delicious and easy to use", namely intelligent cooking function, recipe management function, custom cooking function, cooking assistant function and self-test function.

The results show that all 20 samples have custom cooking functions, that is, users can set parameters such as cooking time, temperature, and firepower stop. The 17 samples have intelligent cooking and cooking assistant functions, which can automatically adjust the working parameters according to the recipe or the amount of ingredients added, complete the cooking with one click, and help users complete the cooking through voice, graphics and other forms. Only 10 samples have a recipe management function, and the remaining samples cannot be added or deleted on the device or software according to the user's own preferences.
