Sample condition

A total of 20 samples sold on the market were selected in this comparative test, and the unit price ranged from 799 yuan to 12180 yuan. The 20 smart blenders all claim to be healthy without fumes or less fumes, 12 have similar words such as easy to clean in promotional messages, and many products are explicitly fried evenly and have high thermal efficiency.

Stickiness is a test of whether the cooking container of the smart blender is easy to adhere to the ingredients during daily cooking. The pretreated cooking container is placed in the oven at a temperature of (150±10) °C, 1h after taking out and quickly knocking a fresh raw egg open and poured into the bottom of the cooking container, when the egg whites are basically solidified, remove the eggs with a non-metallic spatula, and observe whether the surface of the cooking container adheres to the residue.

This review evaluates the quality of the fume control effect by comparing the amount of fumes generated by 20 smart blenders after firing the same dish.

The test results of the fume control effect show that a total of 11 samples produced more than 0.5g of fumes, accounting for more than half. More than one-third of the blenders produce more than 1g of fumes, which is much higher than the limit on the amount of fumes generated by smart cooking in the T/CAS 332-2019 "Technical Specification for the Evaluation of the Intelligent Level of Household Cooking Machines".

Energy saving effect

There were certain differences in the 20 samples, and the overall performance was not good

Thermal efficiency is to reflect the efficiency of the intelligent blender in the work of the power consumed to effectively transfer to the processed ingredients, is one of the energy saving indicators, the higher the thermal efficiency means the higher the power usage rate, but also relatively more power saving.

The test results show that only 9 of the 20 samples have a thermal efficiency greater than 80%, and the energy efficiency of more than half of the samples is far below the energy saving requirements. Among them, the highest thermal efficiency is the 20# sample, up to 94.5%, compared to the lowest 3# sample, the thermal efficiency is less than one-third.

Standby power is also an important indicator to assess the energy-saving performance of intelligent blender, it represents the power silently consumed when plugged into the power supply but static and not working, the smaller the standby power, the more energy-saving.

The test results show that only 4 samples have a standby power of less than 2W, and many models exceed 5W, which is far below the requirements of the energy-saving index of the induction cooker. And the standby power of the sample with wifi function is significantly greater than that of other samples.

Taking the LONDON FOG sample with the largest test data as an example, standby consumes nearly 5 kWh of electricity a month, and the power consumption is amazing, and many home appliances with energy efficiency standards must not have a standby power greater than 2W.

This evaluation refers to the evaluation method of intelligent functions in the "Technical Specifications for the Evaluation of intelligent level of household cooking machines", and selects 5 functions related to "delicious and easy to use" for evaluation.

The test results show that all 20 samples have custom cooking functions, that is, users can set parameters such as cooking time, temperature, and firepower gear.

The 17 models have intelligent cooking and cooking assistant functions, which can automatically adjust the working parameters according to the recipe or the amount of ingredients added, complete the cooking with one click, and help users complete the cooking through voice, graphics and other forms.

Only 10 models have recipe management functions, and the remaining samples cannot be added or deleted on the device or software according to the user's own preferences.
