The opera "Sister Jiang", based on the novel "Red Rock", adapted and composed by the famous artist Yan Su, with the famous artists Yang Ming, Jiang Chunyang and JinSha as the composers, is the crowning work of Chinese national opera. So far, the opera "Sister Jiang" has been performed more than a thousand times. With its beautiful musical melody, distinct character image and strong artistic appeal, the play has conquered countless audiences and become a long-lasting national opera masterpiece. The fifth generation of "Sister Jiang" was rated as the best work of advanced education for party members by the Central Organization Department, and was awarded the "Excellent Reserved Repertoire Award" by the former Ministry of Culture.
Chen Xiaotao, the chief planner and artistic director of this performance, said that in order to inherit the red classics, continue the spiritual bloodline, and play the unique role of red works in educating, enlightening and inspiring people, the original team of the fifth generation of opera "Sister Jiang" crew, with reverence for the classics and adherence to art, regrouped under the banner of the opera "Sister Jiang". The entire cast and crew of the crew will be full of political passion, rigorous artistic attitude and perfect stage presentation, for the audience to once again perform the original, authentic inheritance of the red classic.
It is worth mentioning that the vast majority of the main actors of the "original fifth-generation opera "Sister Jiang" crew participated in the rehearsal of the 2007 opera "Sister Jiang", and were the generation that received the "true transmission" under the careful guidance of Yan Su, Yang Ming and other main creative personnel. Since the premiere of the National Centre for the Performing Arts, it has accumulated rich experience in more than 100 performances in more than 10 years, which is enough to make the audience have higher expectations for the artistic quality presented by "Sister Jiang".
