On December 14, local time, six European supermarket chain giants, including Carrefour (France), Auchan (France) and Ajod Delheitz (netherlands), announced that they would refuse to import related beef products from Brazil, because the brazilian beef merchants' handling of related products has caused damage to the Amazon rainforest.
The spearhead of the "boycott of Brazilian beef" action undoubtedly pointed to the US meat processing giant JBSSA. According to the report, a group investigation of JBS found that the group was indirectly involved in the illegal cutting of regional beef cattle in an illegal way, which is known locally as "cattlelaundering", which is similar to popular money laundering.

JBS Group has publicly stated that it is determined to protect the Amazon rainforest, and has blocked more than 14,000 beef cattle suppliers because their beef cattle are illegally farmed.
